The search continued Saturday for her. Cummings told reporters that a backpack was found near Lake Livingston that may belong to Cunningham.

The FBI searched a creek linked to her disappearance, while Texas Equusearch scoured the Trinity River near the Highway 59 bridge and an area at the edge of Lake Livingston for any evidence.

a little more info from this source
snipped
A statewide Amber Alert reached the public's phones on Thursday when Audrii was last seen around 7 a.m. near her father's home on Lakeside Drive. Investigators said Audrii was supposed to be dropped off at her bus stop, but she never made it on the bus.
Authorities said they searched several locations on Friday and Saturday, finding a backpack believed to belong to Audrii, but have yet to find the 11-year-old.

If he said he was fishing at the time he found out she disappeared supposedly then maybe the cops wanted to see where he was "fishing" at so he showed them. Maybe thats what they mean by he is cooperating at times. Moo.

Just for clarity, can you name the non-approved social media account? Several of them have been mentioned and I'm not sure which ones are approved and which ones are not.
Other than MSM or LE, there are no approved social media accounts in this discussion. I have not seen any group support page where family are members of the Admin team, and their personal pages are off limits.

The Rules: Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Hopeful that a Texas state legislator will soon take up the cause of adding Enticing a Minor at the felony level to the required list of convictions for sex offender registration.

“I am not going to be the same unless my baby is returned to me and neither is her family, any of us, any of her friends, any of the people that she has been connected to in the community,” Matthews said

Dozens of officers, including state troopers, Polk County deputies, San Jacinto County deputies, first responders from other agencies and the FBI are involved in trying to find her.

The focus right now is on bringing Audrii home," Cummings said. "The family has been very cooperative. Everybody here, the entire community here, has been nothing but cooperative and helpful. Our prayers collectively are that we bring Audrii home soon."

IF foul play, wondering if the perp is going to try to get a lesser charge through plea bargaining ?
:(
That wouldn’t surprise me; Texas doesn’t play when it comes to the death penalty.

I dislike how the media latches on to relatives who were not even active in the lives of missing/murdered children.

Without an actual conviction for a sex offense, I don't see how that's even remotely possible.

Section 25.04 - Enticing A Child(a) A person commits an offense if, with the intent to interfere with the lawful custody of a child younger than 18 years, he knowingly entices, persuades, or takes the child from the custody of the parent or guardian or person standing in the stead of the parent or guardian of such child.

(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor, unless it is shown on the trial of the offense that the actor intended to commit a felony against the child, in which event an offense under this section is a felony of the third degree.
Tex. Pen. Code § 25.04

I dislike it as well when it's some random relative going on about "my little cousin" who they hadn't even seen in 15 years, but in this case, it's Audrii's mother speaking. Active in her life or not (for reasons we don't even know), she's still her mother - and she's the only one speaking out, so there's that.

They’re just looking for someone who knows the victim, who happens to be willing to talk. I’m sure they’d rather someone who saw her on a daily basis, but this is what they have to work with.

Do we know where Texas EquuuSearch is now searching, or is that information not disclosed?

Agreed. Child endangerment for one or two more people.
What were they thinking???
IMO
There have been cases over the years where I thought charges should have been filed against a parent. Maleah Davis also here is Texas, is one of them. LE seems to rarely file charges in cases like this. Maybe extremely bad judgement, doesn't equal provable intent?

*mom starts speaking around :40. It feels different to see and hear her and I am not her judge. I feel for her.

In our previous report, Lt. Cummings said McDougal was arrested on Friday for an unrelated aggravated assault charge. McDougal's SUV was also identified by deputies as the one spotted by witnesses. During the press conference, deputies also confirmed McDougal was the last person known to be with Cunningham before she disappeared before school on Thursday.
Did the witness spot his vehicle at the Lake/Dam area? Maybe stopped on the bridge? Mcdougal smartly placed himself in the area, by saying "he was fishing when he found out Audrii was missing".

Hopefully one of those homes located on the corner where the bus stop is located, has a camera. His vehicle may have passed by, but she didn't exit.

IF Audrii was killed on the 14th, and the "last seen" on the 15th was a ruse, would the grandmother and father not have questioned why she was not home on the night of the 14th.?

I also wonder whether there's been any development regarding sightings of McDougal's vehicle on the 14th. I guess we don't know, but hopefully police have something on that.
