Well - darn.... okay - I shall try again - maybe in a month or so! Again - Thanks! :)

Special hearing this morning. Anyone have any way to watch? Heard rumblings on FB hopefully the news will keep us updated.
I saw that, too. I'm thinking it's either a plea, or it has to do with the charges that aren't related to Audrii, maybe? Looking for a live link.
IMO.

So a "special" hearing is taking place today but no information has been provided about what the hearing is about aside form it pertains to the case (duh). What the heck is going on here? officials say more information will be provided after the hearing is over.

This guy better not be getting some sort of sweet plea deal. He doesn't really have anything to bargain with, her body was recovered, the minor victim is dead and therefore won't have to testify to his aberrant actions. Unless he plans to offer evidence the child's family members knew what he was up or he is going to testify he was part of a larger predator ring and give them up to LE to I can't imagine anything he has to offer that would warrant any plea deal. JMO

Plus he led them to her poor little body, didn't he??
If there is a larger ring, well, I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL.
LWOP is the only thing he should be getting, if he's not getting the DP.
He's a danger to society.
IMO.

Since I can not access the article - do not know if it has the time in there.

Yes the DA is seeking the DP in this case per my notes.

Plea deal has been accepted. Life without parole.
Good enough for me. I hope he hates every minute of it.

Apparently some of Audrii's family made statements this morning.
I'm interested in finding out who. There is no love lost between some of poor Audrii's family members, and it's always made me sad that she had to deal with that during her short life.
IMO.

According to the Polk County District Attorney's Office, McDougal wouldn't have been eligible for the death penalty due to documented intellectual and developmental disabilities

During the emotional hearing, Audrii’s family members delivered emotional, yet incendiary, victim impact statements, addressing McDougal directly & expressing the profound pain & loss they have endured since Audrii’s death. Audrii’s father, Josh Cunningham, Julie, Audrii’s aunt, Tabitha Munsch, Audrii’s grandmother & Philip Munsch, Audrii’s grandfather.

There is an article above where I could access it - and it had what each one said.

Then LWOP was always the maximum possible.

He's where he needs to be, and whoever actually cared about this girl is spared the trauma of a trial and then decades of appeals if he was convicted.

This is much neater.
