Thoughts on Andrew Kinsman being the anomaly of the potential victims here?
Maybe a limited selection of his " type ", or they did not care for him.
Or he preferred those from other countries because family/ friends perhaps less likely to go public, speculation, imo.

Maybe Andrew Kinsman was beginning to suspect something and had to be silenced.

Or, perish the thought, that he has more victims that look like AK, but they have not yet been discovered?
all imo, speculation.

Calvin Vanness has been missing since 2008, with his car found abandoned.

Oh oh. The long weekends, the holidays when the men went missing.... Maybe the owners of the Mallory Crescent home were letting BM use their house or have access inside to water plants, etc. He would have privacy then instead of his apartment on Thorncliffe.

Was he in and out at Mallory Crescent even to use the washroom? Did they give him a key to check on the place when they're away?
I can't help but wonder why the police were removing plant pots? Did they have a cat that needed feeding/watering?

The number of times Ive looked after neighbours cats and plants, you just do and they return the favour right?

The article only speculates the DNA might have been used. I don't actually think it was, there's no crime scene or bodies for DNA to have been retrieved from.

I think police more likely used the victim's digital footprints and social media networks, and identified him as connected with Andrew Kinsman plus another missing man at least, and with a job that would make it easy to dispose of bodies.

They did get some blood from the red vehicle. A tiny amount that the people at Doms didn't even see. It could have been from a victim or it could have been from BM. That will all unfold at trial. IMO

We all speculate but I find it interesting that he has a history of violence and that DNA was taken by the courts. IMO

You are certainly correct about his job. Can they dig up the whole of the Don Valley, its right behind Mallory Crescent? Wow, just wow.

Has it been confirmed he was in Belleville’s “gay” park or is that speculation?

Just a quick update on where police seem to be at in the investigation into Bruce McArthur. It seems police are still (at least as of earlier today) at two properties connected to him: His apartment in East York, and a home where he stored tools, near Bayview Ave.

Toronto police now open to any possible links between Bruce McArthur and earlier disappearances

Toronto police spokesperson Meaghan Gray confirmed to CBC Toronto Tuesday that while McArthur was not a suspect for Project Houston investigators back in 2012, officers now looking into the suspected murders of Kinsman and Esen, are now open to any possible links the 66-year-old may have with the earlier cases.

On April 11, 2003, McArthur was handed a sentence of 729 days (or two years less a day) for assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. The sentence was a conditional one, meaning that McArthur would served his time in the community rather than behind bars.

In addition to the DNA sample, he was subject to a 10-year weapons prohibition, the Ministry of the Attorney General confirmed to CBC News. A further charge of carrying a concealed weapon was withdrawn at the time, a spokesperson said, but details on exactly what type of weapon was used were not immediately available.

This is sickening and saddening beyond belief. I feel so deeply for the friends, families and loved ones. I honestly think BM is responsible for all three of the original missing men of Project Houston. Their cases are all too similar, and these men did not just up and leave their lives.

Hi Everyone, silently watching this thread. I have been following articles about these missing men for years. A few years ago I had called in to the non emergency police as I seen an ad on Craigslist where a man was specifically targeting gay men of colour. The ad caught my attention and rubbed me the wrong way. I had called in to suggest they check online dating ads there, apps and dating sites and I did not feel it was being taken seriously by the person on the other end to be honest. I am left asking myself that if at that time they checked the missing men's computers or cellphone histories would it have saved the other men. It just seems that it would be a reasonable thing to do.

I heard earlier today from a friend of mine, that she was watching Global News at 6pm, and it was said that investigators just recently contacted the family of Abdulbasir Faizi to ask for his computer. The wife said she held onto it for years, but recently discarded it. My first reaction was "they are just asking for his computer....now?!" I've been looking for the clip all day, as I didn't want to post without it, but have been unable to track it down. Once I saw your post, I just had to.

You are right, one would think that would be the reasonable and logical thing to do. Thank you for your information, and I'm sorry you feel as though they didn't take your call seriously. Stories like this are just so upsetting.

Ok, i have to ask, this is purely nonjudgmental. I am sure only a gay man will be able to answer honestly, so here goes....
Could these deaths be some sort of Erotic Asphixiation gone to far, or is this bloke out for thrill kill only, selecting his type of male preference?
If asphixiation sex, are drugs normally used along with manner of asphixiation (bag/mask/ligature)
If a dating app is used, is erotic asphixiation advertised such as position etc? So could LE define their search better on these sites? Or no? Im assuming asphixiation isnt wide spread??
Could BM have been making videos of this?

Heads up folks !!

Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking site or blog website (i.e. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), but postings on those sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen shots directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified MSM news station, LE, or official Missing Persons site, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

I don't think this was erotic asphyxiation gone wrong. This man was hunting and had a goal in mind

Uh - erotic asphyxiation is by no means exclusive to the gay community. <modsnip>
