Angelina Jolie

Good for him!

I read this on some random website, but not sure if it's true.

Has anyone heard anything?

From what Angie has said, she definitely plans to adopt again.

  • #883
Surely she wouldn't adopt this close to having Shiloh. She has definately made it clear she plans to adopt more in the future, but I would think she would wait until after she has had more of a chance to bond with baby Shiloh before pursuing those plans. She is also set to star in that new movie about Daniel Pearle, so it would seem like shooting the film, planning a wedding (possibly) and taking care of 1 new baby along with Maddox & Zahara would be enough on her plate for the moment.

I believe they wanted to adopt an older child - close in age to Maddox rather that a baby, but I haven't heard anything more than that. I looked around but didn't find any links.

haven't heard anything about that, but i got the new NE today, & they have a 'story' about Angelina telling Brad that she doesn't want to marry him......ugh, i just can't keep up w/all this stuff....LOL, oh & an article about Jennifer Aniston "cancelling last minute plan to elope" w/Vince & one about Katie Couric "pulls the plug on secret ceremony"....(i didn't know she was engaged)

LOL, not to mention there's a "plus" at the bottom of the cover that says "Tom & Katie's $1M scientology wedding!"...

can't wait to read about "Oprah's cross country eating binge"....NOT

I read this same magazine. I remember back when The Star and Engquirer had stories about odd happenings and many other things besides movie stars. They are really boring now.

I think the Star still follows the predictions of Nostradamus (sp?) a lot. But there do seem to be less 3 headed cows and aliens on the front pages these days. So sad, what is happening to crappy faux-journalism in America? Give us our 3 headed cows and alien stories you fiends:razz: !!!

I still want to know what happened after the Lake Superior Monster (Supie?) swam across the Atlantic to duke it out with Nessie in Scotland. I was really waiting for the play by play on that bout, as reported in the Weekly World News.

Pressie verses Nessie?

no contest, i reckon. Nessie has far more experience of life and would have tossed Pressie like a caber! :D

Maybe it will be a pay-per-view fight night special. :D I would pay to see that.

Thank you, narlacat. :)

I cannot imagine why they would be splitting...or even contemplating
a split, when they both seem so happy together and have three great
children together.

I highly doubt it is an issue of infidelity with these two, but if I had to
put my money on it, I'd say that Angelina likes to wear the pants in the
relationship, and it's her way....or the highway. JMO.

It looks to me like the hunt is more fun than the catch. I dont want to sound so negative, but did you really believe that this relationship would work out???

It's not negative sounding, IMO, it's the truth. I've thought from the beginning that this relationship was based on lust. Even the charity/ambassador work wasn't what drew them together IMO, because Brad wasn't into it before Angelina (or as much) and doesn't seem committed to it as a way of life like she does. He likes being in the US, while it seems to make her miserable. IMO, the only thing they have truly in common is the children and even that isn't a guarantee that they will stay together. JMO

Well, I wish them both the best. I am sure all of the kids will be taken care of emotionally during and after this if they really are split. Brad will continue to make okay movies and still do his charity work and same for Angelina. As long as they are both happy and still contribute to needy causes then, eh, whatever.

Brad will morph into the needs of his next honey. That is just his personality. I hope the kids will adjust. Maddox always looked so cute playing with his father. I never thought they would make it. I am glad that Brad adopted the children. At least this way he can stay a part of their lives forever.

Whoa! :hand: Hold on guys! Don't write them off so soon! I know alot of you have issues with how they got together and can't wait to say "I knew it wouldn't last!" But don't get too excited too quick. I think there is a good reason why Angie & the kids may be spending the night spending the night elsewhere. They are or should be moving soon to the new house and we all know it's not uncommon to stay in a hotel while relocating, especially with children! They don't need to be around all of that chaos. So don't jump the gun! The new house is very kid friendly with a former ballroom being turned into a fantastic playroom! I think Angie and the kids will be sticking around. I can almost hear the disappointment! You all seem way too anxious to see it over. I hope they make it, at the least, because there are children involved now. I just don't understand how so many people who don't know them can be glad to see the "demise" of their relationship when they seem to be in love and happy. I wish them the best. Let love rule! :)

Pitt-Jolie family moving to new digs

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are packing to leave their home in Malibu, Calif., for the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles where Pitt owns property.

Pitt, Jolie and their three children -- Maddox, 5; Zahara, 19 months; and Shiloh, 3 months -- are spending time in both residences for a while, but Teen People's sources said Pitt wants to live primarily in Los Feliz.

Pitt has reportedly spent $4 million renovating three buildings -- a stone house once owned by Cassandra Peterson who played Elvira, a Craftsman-style house and a 1950s post-and-beam building, Teen People reported.

"Brad's turned the compound into a Neverland-like place," a source told Us Weekly.

A ballroom was converted into a huge playroom and a pool and fountain are at the center of the main house, Teen People reported.

I wouldn't call it "happy" on my part IF they split up, now or 10 years from now, it's just that I happen to believe that they will not last. And I freely admit that I take issue with the way they got together. IMO, Angelina hides behind her charity/ambassdor work, to do d@mn well what she pleases, with whomever she pleases, regardless if they are married. IMO, it's a case of what goes around comes around, reaping what you sow, whatever you want to call it.

I seriously doubt they are splitting up now, I give them a couple more years. JMO

As residents work to rebuild their lives and homes a year after Hurricane Katrina, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be frequent visitors to the city observing the progress.
They were in New Orleans on Thursday, though only Pitt appeared at an afternoon news conference to announce the winner of the design competition he started in April to rebuild hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods using environmentally friendly designs and construction.
