I agree we are waiting specifically on Toxicology reports correct? If they had found nothing I think we would have heard by now. It makes me think something is brewing also, that and the fact WH is still in jail. Toxicology is for drugs and typically takes about 6 weeks according to this article:
http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/addiction/features/the-truth-about-toxicology-tests?page=3
<Why do the forensic toxicology tests take so long?
Getting a complete and accurate forensic toxicology test result can be a lengthy process for a variety of reasons, according to the College of American Pathologists and experts interviewed by WebMD.
There may be a lot of specimens that need to be tested, which means more testing time. And as an investigation proceeds, information about the possibility of another drug being involved may surface, so even more testing may be needed.>
I don't see AJ as a drug user, she was active in sports. Are they speculating someone drugged her? Why Toxicology? Does the ME make the determination for COD? Again I have to wonder why it is taking so long......
Here is another good link:
http://www.dfs.virginia.gov/laboratory-forensic-services/toxicology/
<Examiners in the Toxicology Section analyze body fluids and tissues for the presence and concentrations of alcohol, drugs, and other potential poisons. Support is provided to Medical Examiners to assist in determining cause and manner of death, and to law enforcement agencies investigating crimes where drug or alcohol use may be implicated.
Non-Implied Consent Cases
Law enforcement agencies also submit blood, urine or other body fluids from suspects or victims of other crimes. Examples of these situations include drug-facilitated sexual assault, DUI/D investigations not pursuant to the implied consent statute, and child abuse or endangerment.>
Hmmmm.
JHM, LEO is getting all their facts together before they do anything. Tox report is part of the Autopsy report. It will either back up or dispute findings/theories. Example: they cant arrest someone for drugging her and she died, if no drugs were found in her system. LEO is on their timetable not ours. Murder, if that's what it is deemed to be, has no statue of limitations for filing charges.
