Anthony’s forced to move search headquarters

To Cindy, I am based in reality, something that is an elusive concept to you and George and Lee and Casey. So this weekend me and my husband along with members here and 3000 OTHER PEOPLE will be combing the woods with hopes in finding your granddaughter. I, on occasion will doubt science, but the science involved in this case is clear. Caylee is gone, she's not coming back she has not been kidnapped, she has been killed. We will try to find her and bring her back to you, we will really try.

The Help Find Caylee headquarters is sponsored by Kidfinders. So it has pictures of missing children from across the state of Florida.

So now they are campaigning for those children too. I have only seen Caylee t-shirts and flyers at their table. I have some swampland for sale in Florida if you believe that statement by Cindy.

Unbelievable. What kind of sick person vandalizes a billboard and other items meant to be used to help find a missing child. I can only hope that Karma will catch up with the vandals.

There are things that Cindy and George have done, not done, said, not said, etc., that have made me question them, but this kind of thing is simply despicable. Truly in poor taste.

I wouldn't think they have the legal right to do this. They are not Caylee's parents or legal guardians. How did they pull this off?

Well if THAT's not crossing the lines folks, I don't know what is. Copyrights? Trademarks? Pretty obvious where all those donations went.

Trademarked the names and phrases? That is LUDICROUS...and NOT cheap either. I was recently looking into Trademarks and it is in the several hundreds of dollars to get a TM, so yeah, I would say a big chunk of donations went to that. I think they are just doing that so they can accuse people of copyright and trademark infringement so they can make everyone NOT post Caylee's name. Dear Lord!

Anyone been to one of these search headquarters? Do they have a search plan? Do they gather your email or phone numbers to keep you updated on what areas they are searching and how people can help with the search? Do they hand out maps, marked with tips on Caylee sitings so people can search? Other than buying t-shirts and bracelets and taking a flyer, what do they do at their search headquarters?

I believe they have a "jar" to collect donations? Does anyone ask what the donations are for? Or is it a given it's for more t-shirts, bracelets and gas for the postermobile?

Please, if you've been to one of these locations, share with us, what's the plan?

They should just open a lemonade stand already.

And, when you do. Explain to her that little girls are God's blessing. That every fiber of their being deserves the same respect and love given every other human being. But, with a more special love..they want to carry on with more special people to bring into the world. Caylee will never have the chance.

The world has loss another opportunity. Damn killers!

"Anthony says someone is making that hard for them these days. They have to leave their fifth location for a sixth. So far they've been located in two Publix supermarket parking lots, outside of a fruit stand and in a skating rink parking lot.

"Anthony says they are being forced to move their headquarters, because again, their current location is being inundated with complaints.

"Its multiple calls...multiple e-mails, faxes," said Anthony.

Anthony said the trouble makers continue until they are asked to move their site.

Blame it on someone else in true Anthony fashion. Did Tim vandalize? Did LE? Did the media? Is there a news article about this or is this just something the Anthonys said?

I watched the video, there was one poster that looked like it had been taped up somewhere and perhaps the wind had torn it down and Cindy had the pieces in a plastic bag. I saw not one other shred of "evidence" of the VANDALISM as she so eloquently puts it. The truth is, Walmart was getting complaints and people were threatening to picket the store and Walmart said-Get Out! end of story.

Can you copyright someone's name? What happens if there is another CMA? I am sure that there must be another one out there somewhere. Can they sure someone with the last name of Anthony that has a child and names it Caylee M?

I have the most unusual name in the world, at least in my mind, and there is actually one other person in the US with my exact name and I didn't think that was possible.

I think they can copyright their site and the writings on it. A name cannot be copyrighted but anything on their site can be copyrighted.


According to the info I found, anyone can use the 'tm' after a name without applying for a trademark but it should be used in conjuntion with with product lines and/or services.
