I have always wondered if an IDI was hiding in the house before they got home.
If the intent was to kidnap JBR and take her back to Texas I can see why he (Mr. AA Shore) would write a ransom note. Why would his hand writing resemble Patsy's? Does it normally, or do you think that part of his plan, to mimic one of their handwriting styles. Take everything from John.... Patsy as a suspect in her involvement. Did he go through the garbage to get samples? Look around the house, find her diary or a journal, use phrases he heard Patsy use on previous occasions? Did he mimic some of her language phrases but used some of his own as well. Did he do this while waiting for the family to return? Making a practice note as well?
In the original plan he would want her alive to molest her further like he did his daughters.
I think he did hit her over the head to knock her out and did more damage than he intended. He figured it out when she didn't cry out or even move much when he molested her. He changes his plan as playing with a dead child isn't his plan. He killed ( strangled) her and staged the area around her.
If a direct appeal is made from Colorado to Texas to test him ( all Texas has to do is collect and certify it is his sample) in order to compare this DNA I don't see why BPD would not make the effort.
It is too creepy a lead not to follow up on.
It isn't dependent on psychics and angry ex-girl friends and they have explored those,. why not this?
