I highly doubt Garrison was working for free. That is probably where that amount came from. It seems how when people walk away from the A's mud gets thrown at them. Of course Nejame is going to support his clients, that's his job. He's not going to go out there and say "Oh yeah, my clients are out of control, so that is why he resigned". I'm tired of hearing from the A's, Nejame and KF. The mud flinging is getting old and it is taking away the attention of finding Caylee.

LP seems like a nice enough guy, but let's not forget he came to town and got KC out of jail, which I think might have actually set her reticence to co-operate to find Caylee and made it permanent. I do think he enjoys the notoriety, implying he's 'in the know,' doing appearances on NG, teaming up with genuine articles like TM. He really doesn't have a lot more to offer than he already has, in my opinion, and I think it’s time for him to head back to Cali and take a break from the talk-show circuit.

I care what his motive is. A good deed is only geniune when its done with good intentions. If you look at his motives ($$$$$$$) you can see his line of vision......hey, this kids missing..I can bail KC out, (with a publicity co.'s money), and throw myself right in the middle of this saga....garner a ton of publicity, be a stand out character in this circus (always in black with the cowboy hat, can't miss him) go on national tv and basically talk out of his a**, (because nothing he has said has been proven to be true), throw together a half-baked search effort, that's broadcast live on the internet,(for just a little more publicity) then finally realize, I guess we won't find her, (after TM says so) and decides he will be leaving Orlando within a few days.
Hmm, wonder what he's going to do now? (shop around for the highest bidders on book deals, reality tv shows, magazine exclusive interviews)
So I care what his motive is. Ok.

His motive for the bail out was to get her to talk. The world's brightest man? No. But he keeps Caylee's name out there and he just might stumble upon something important while on one of his wild goose chases.

I agree with the gist of what you're saying, but I don't think #1 is the case. I don't think he started to feel bad about anything so much as he was just trying to get the last word in. I think when he said "the truth is better than the spin" he was implying that those around KC already know the real truth, and he knows they are consciously choosing a spin over the truth in the hopes of getting KC off. But if "the truth is better than the spin", then he may be telling them that their story sucks or is simply immoral, and they need to own up to the truth. I dunno, that just seemed my take on his choice of words given the context in which he said them.

I agree that he may have more to offer than the Anthony's, who at this point seem to have zilch to offer, with the possible exception of George who is apparently testifying truthfully. Still, Caylee's name is so out there that I don't really think we need Leonard to make sure it stays out there. I think that's pretty well assured. KC is in jail, where she will probably stay for a very long time, one way or another. She'll never talk, imo, will proclaim her innocence forever...unless perhaps Cindy can somehow get through to her or browbeat her into confession...which seems unlikely since Cindy is determined to exist in unreality where KC is as pure and innocent as mountain rain water. The case is murder. It's been filed and is winding his way through the courts. The police seems to have built the best case they can. At any rate, they have what they have and don't have what they don't have. It will be up to judges and the jury now. TES has looked for Caylee. LP has looked for Caylee. Mulitutes have and are looking for Caylee. She hasn't been located in the most promising areas. She may never be found, but more orgainized searches at this point don't seem to hold a lot of promise. It's time for Leonard to head back to Cali and give NG a rest.

I think the truth maybe a mix of the two stories, but I find it unsettling that TM is siding with MN about anything, especially in the newspapers.

Let's not forget about the P.I. Didn't he just state he's doing this for free too? You know he's got no legit search for a live Caylee.

What about expenses incurred for his investigation?, travel and lodging? -- you can live handsomely off creative expenses.
