Maybe it was from one of those walk-in clinics/walk-in emergency places, so there would be no further information?
ummmmmmm, even "doc in a box" as the free-standing clinics are adorably nicknamed MUST start a chart on each and every patient that presents. And my investigators are very very very good at reaching out to them to perform a John/Jane Doe chart search if needed, PLUS with the coverage this case received, betcha the Health Information/Medical Records departments went into a search mode just to AVOID long drawn out visitations from folks with legal documents!
oh yeah, that Genta label was a fount of information also, pharmacies can be VERY helpful in decedent medical histories
