I have friend that went to mexico> He said in the town he stayed it a well in middle of town that the locals poured lots of tequila in (maybe there on to something). He got drunk of drinking water out of the well. I ask him if he had ever heard not to drink the water in mexico .

That's interesting. I wonder if that's their version of chlorinating the water?
I've been to many small towns in Mexico, but didn't try the water. Maybe I should have!

I wanted to state a few things on this issue without even having to read what you all already said about this.

My dad works with the water system in my area, in charge of the distribution among other things. I have talked to him about this over the phone and reassures me that the study shows that we are talking about parts per "trillion" and that the effect if any is so minimal it would be no different than anything else you eat or drink that is packaged or produced in the marketplace today. Water is very safe to drink and there is no such thing as "pure water". I believe this story is getting more hype than it really deserves and there is nothing to worry about.

It'd be a good excuse if you failed a drug test - just blame the water!!
