A woman arrested in the kidnapping and killing of a Pulaski County real estate agent pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Lewis and Lowery were each charged with capital murder in the killing of Realtor Beverly Carter, whose body was found in a shallow grave in northern Pulaski County days after she disappeared after going to show a home in Scott.

OHHH and Beverly Carters phone WAS NOT.... WAS NOT... on Crystal Lowerys nasty panties, on the dresser. Beverly Carters phone was in the car with Arron Lewis when he wrecked as he was being followed under surveillance. Crystal and Arron were both suspects from the very beginning.

And Dumbest Criminals.... At least Arron used a fake first name..... The couple who Beverly had an appoint to meet... Steven and Crystal Adams.....

30 yrs for ea charge cant even file for parole hearing for 21 yrs... The Pros told me when I asked, what if she changes her mind on testifying against Arron... he said that's a contract she signed and everything is null and void and would have to stand trial.

Disclaimer.... Just my honest observation from sitting in the courtroom from 800am til after Crystal left the court back to Pulaski County Jail.... almost 10 am.

Law enforcement got it right. They had it right all along. Between good detective work and Arron's big, fat mouth, a murderer has been placed right where she belongs today- behind some tightly locked bars. I am sickened and horrified that a woman and a mother could kill another woman, mother, grandmother that she recognized and knew. Selfish, entitled and EVIL. And for what? To end up behind bars for a good portion of life.

Beverly, smile down on your family today. They will miss you forever, but at least today, guilt was admitted. You didn't have to fight for accountability today. In the words of CJr, "one down, one to go".

ohnson in court said that investigators developed Lowery and Lewis as suspects after finding records showing communication between Carter's phone and Lowery's. Lewis was followed and he had in his possession Carter's phone, Johnson said.

He said that "further investigation" of the cellphone records showed "it was apparent that Crystal Lowery participated in the plan and kidnapping of Ms. Beverly Carter, which resulted in her death."

Lowery was then asked whether Johnson's description of the case was true. She acknowledged it was.

She was sentenced to 30 years in state prison and must serve 21 years before becoming eligible for parole.

She must also testify against her former husband, Arron Lewis, who is awaiting trial in the case.

She was the only female to come over on the Jail Transport (correction, was the only female that came into Judge Wright courtroom from the jail). She was seated next to last seat in jury box, making her 2 a seat and the railing dividing the jury box to the seats for others. Right in front of Beverly Carters Husband, Sons, daughters in law, husb brother. The Captain iirc his title, from the press conf day that Beverly remains located. Other than a couple of other people that had court dates family, .... the 4 pews were filled with Beverly Carters coworkers and a couple other of her family. Couple reporters (the one from Ark Dem Gaz) Detective Allison.....

Her Attorney went over to talk to her, then he said something to someone and then he and Crystal left. Were gone for a while. 12 other cases were called prior to her. The Pros I think must have gotten a text or something he got up and left and was gone a good while. Then the Pros came back and spoke to the Carter Family. I could see them gently nodding as in yes... then the Pros went and had a seat. Crystals attorney came in got some forms and left. Then he returned and gave them to the court personnel.

When they called Crystal Lowery name, and she came back in her face was red, could tell she had been crying. But didnt in the courtroom. Pros read the charges and Stated what we have already heard, Beverly had an appointment to meet a couple to show a house, Steven and Crystal Adams.... They found out that the number was thru that service and it came back registered to Crystal Lowery. Phone records show they conversed. They immediately had them as suspects and began surv on their home...
