Every part of me, and of all her other real friends, tell us this is not true about her. I was around her after the murder and she was just as surprised and shocked as the rest of us when things would come out in the news. There was a lot of information about AL that she never knew.

So when you saw that he was wanted in connection with this on that Monday that he was arrested, were you surprised? Or in the back of your mind did you think “oh this could be something he would do?”

She did not know he was a 7 time convicted felon when they married. She did however know he had been in some past trouble for some sort of scam on a company but he told her he had changed. She had no idea of his long criminal past. I realize it was posted on FB but apparently she was blinded by love and failed to do her research. Call her dumb if you will but being dumb does not make one a killer.

I agree being naive doesn’t make you a killer but I do believe she probably knew more about his past than what she told you. It has been posted here, her actual comments to a girl that AL was talking to on IG and CL said in her comment that all AL had ever knew was a life of crime and that he had spent his life in and out of jail. I believe CL posted those comments around July. Perhaps someone else would know.

When he was wanted on Monday I didn't know what to think. My concern was her and her daughter. I didn't get the impression he could murder someone but he was a creeper as in a pervert IMO.

She did find out after they were married about his felony past because his parole officer told her. She kicked him out but allowed him back recently when he got the job at the concrete plant. When he was fired she tried to kick him back out but he would not leave. She was in the process of trying to move her and her daughter out but had not done it yet. I don't know why she kept staying. We all tried to tell her.

AL and CL had a very bad relationship. What the neighbors reported about them fighting is very true. He was not physically abusive but was mentally. Her daughter did not like him and he did not like her. He was very childish and would lie on the daughter to try to come between CL and her daughter. It was not a good situation and CL should have woke up sooner about him.

I will say CL did have a huge lapse in judgment. Putting all of AL’s history aside, she was still the mom of a young girl. AL posted pics on his IG back from January where he was taking her daughter to the doctor. No woman should allow a man they have only known a few weeks or maybe even days be alone with their child and certainly not taking her to the doctor. I just hope he never touched the daughter, if you know what I mean.

We do live in a lynch mob mentality world and that is not beneficial to anyone. I don’t believe even her family would want that because they still deserve answers.

The truth will come out in the end and it will be up to a jury of their peers to decide their fate. In the meantime, I will never believe CL had anything to do with this until I see the evidence.

There are a lot of rumors going around about BC but I would not post them here out of respect for her and her family. I think her co-workers are wrong for the talk I've been hearing around town, if in fact they are the ones running their mouths. Most of the rumors I've heard have reportedly coming from them. Someone correct me on this if I have been misinformed. I do know I witnessed some of them posting on CL FB page myself. It was shameful and in bad taste.

It is very sad that in these situations that even the victim becomes fodder for gossip of every kind. I can’t imagine how painful that would be for BC’s family.

I do feel extremely bad for all of the family of everyone involved. Lives have been ruined for a senseless reason. We could all love someone that could do evil things. I just can’t imagine how you move past things like that. Again, I do appreciate your insight and opinions as well. You are in shock, as well. Does CL have close family that will stand by her through this? I know it was said she had an attorney but I can’t imagine she would be able to afford one to defend her on something like this. Not many people could.

Yes. I know people who were posting negative on her FB page the night of the arrest too. Sad to say their actions changed my opinion of them. I try hard not to judge but we are all guilty of it. God help us.

Nojustice, I am glad you are here. You will bring invaluable insight! I will keep an open mind to the information you bring. I also think it would be beneficial for you to have an open mind and review facts, too, rather than what you think is true. If you read over many, many, MANY thread of people who are "found safe" there is one common thread- family members and loved ones who consistently say "He/ she would neeeeever do that" only to find out that he/ she did exactly that. People only let you know what they want you to know about them. The odds of her not knowing, the police falsely arresting her and the courts stating in a legal document that she tested positive for drugs and all of them are untrue (according to her) are slim to none. I appreciate your loyalty, but don't be blinded so much that you are unable to use some reasoning, as well. I hope none of this comes across as snarky, because it is not. It is sincere and honest, but sometimes it is hard to know what attitude someone has behind a computer. I sincerely appreciate your insight.

Oh, and I have known plenty of people who do drugs, claim they do not and also claim others around them do not (who clearly are!!!). If you are not one to participate in doing drugs, she would certainly hide that aspect from you.

From what I have seen of TL he is a very caring father. I'm not sure about his gun obsession or posts. I have never looked at his FB posts and have only been around him a couple of times. What I saw of him was nothing but a caring father and he and CL still had a very good relationship for the most part, set aside the custody battle and his new wife being the reason CL was arrested for the theft by receiving. The new wife knew that CL was about to bring the daughter to TL to get her out of the middle of the AL mess so she called LE and said CL was about to leave Pulaski county. They arrested her to get a statement from her. CL was not leaving the county. She was coming right back after she dropped off the daughter. I think the new wife is a tad bit insecure of the relationship CL and TL still have due to their children.

I did see on his FB and before hers was removed that they were still friendly. I think when children are involved that is always a positive thing, at least for their sake.

Yes this is something a lot of us have been discussing. We are open minded but we also know her character. I'm not taking her word on the false positive and her passing the hair follicle. I saw the test results with my own eyes. She was getting her daughter back. A court date had already been set. I know that to be 100% true.

I know the false arrest thing is a stretch but I truly believe they need her in there to break her down or that maybe she was stupid enough to give him a ride when he was on the run or cover for him during those days police were hunting him. I do not think she helped plan or carry out a kidnapping or murder or cover one up. I'm not the only friend that feels this way. We all do. I think that says something that I'm not only one who believes in CL. None of her friends believe this. We all had bad vibes from AL and tried to steer her from him. We all believe he has been her down fall.

It's my understanding from another friend that the attorney is pro bono after reviewing the case against her.
Lapse in judgment and AL around her daughter I will not argue with you about. It was not smart and she is paying a high price for that lapse.
Yes sad that victim becomes gossip and why I refused to post what is being said. I will not tarnish her name. The ones doing that should be ashamed.

I understand how that would look to someone who does not know here or is not close to the situation. Did you happen to see the remarks from her attorney. I can't remember his exact words but it was on KATV 7. Try to find that video and watch it and maybe you will be enlightened by what he had to say about the difference between CL and AL. I know her. I can't explain it but I know she is not capable of any of this. There would be no reason for her to participate. Another friend knows for sure she was at school that evening. I can't speculate on LE or their motives. My guess was as I posted earlier they think she knows something and think by placing her in jail with no bond they will break her. I'm sure they have the best intentions to solve this case. They just don't have the right person. I do however respect your opinion @moonlit

Do you know if CL was aware that they were still investigating her? That would have to be an unnerving situation.

nojusticenusa all I can say is CL is lucky to have a friend like you. I certainly understand the shock you must be in and understand you defending your friend until evidence comes out that could change your mind. Regardless, its too bad she didn't get out sooner but most of the time others see and they are wearing blindfolds.

Yes CL would know that i would not approve of drugs so you may be correct that she did hide this from me. I will not pretend that I know her every thought or everything she did. I just know her and do not believe the person I know is capable of what happened to BC. She did not personally do drugs. This I do know. She never has and I have known her for many years.

AL may have but he never appeared to be on drugs. His head was not shaved as of Thur morning so I've been told by another friend. I just don't know what happened with him. I have nothing nice to say about him nor will you see me come to his defense here.

She knew because they kept telling her they thought she knew something but it had died down and she had not heard anything from them nor had her attorney. The arrest was a shock to everyone. Yes he has been her attorney since a few days after AL was arrested. Pro bono is my understanding. She had no money to hire anyone. I think she was in shock during this time and under stress but what I saw was not a person who was struggling with helping with something like this. She was just like the rest of us trying to find information to figure out if AL had really been responsible for this.

Yes it is very hard knowing both BC and CL.

CL told me he did not do drugs. The neighbors told me they think he recently did do drugs and had lost about 15 lbs in 3 weeks. I don't know if he did drugs or not but he had passed all his drug tests he is required to take. I did not like him and wanted no part of him. I was not around him enough to know and would never be around drugs myself. If he did drugs I think it would have been something recent but maybe I'm wrong. If he was using drugs then CL was either covering for him by telling her friends he did not do drugs or it was another thing she was blind about. Even after the murder and the posts I saw about him using drugs I confronted her and she denied he used drugs. The few times I was around him and it was brief as I've said he was not someone I wanted to be around, I did not however get the feeling he was using drugs. I could be 100% wrong on that though since I don't do drugs. I did find what he said in his jailhouse interview disturbing.

I too am open minded that I may not know all there is to know about my friend. I just know what my gut tells me. I know the person I have known for many years is not capable of such acts. God help me if I am wrong. I just don't think I am.

I don't know anything about him posting how to steal. I doubt she knew about that or if she did she never mentioned it. She was driving the car and the neighbor was filming the superman stunt. Another dumb move on her part and shows AL childish mentality.
