I wonder if there will be any more arrests?

Nojusticenusa, do you know if CL and/or AL actually knew BC?

I know CL did not know her. I do not know if AL knew her or not.

I saw the rumors about BC granddaughter cheering with CL daughter. To my knowledge this is a rumor. If it's not a rumor then CL did not know this because I asked her about it.

I didn't say that. It was a weird relationship. I think she wanted to be in love with him. He was not an easy person to love IMO. He cheated all the time.

I am sure. He probably just broke her heart time and again. Did any of you or her friends, find it odd that she married him so fast? I mean they hadn't known each other long. I know it has been discussed on her before, that he seemed like the type of guy that had to have a woman all the time. Even his FB comments, would state he broke up with someone and was back in the dating game. Whereas most people would be like, maybe I should not be dating right now. I just assumed that since she and TL had been divorced for several years that this quickie marriage must have been out of character for her. You may not want to answer this but do you know if they met online?

nojusticenusa all I can say is CL is lucky to have a friend like you. I certainly understand the shock you must be in and understand you defending your friend until evidence comes out that could change your mind. Regardless, its too bad she didn't get out sooner but most of the time others see and they are wearing blindfolds.

I believe if CL is guilty of anything it's being in a relationship with AL and not listening to those of us who loved her when we tried to warn her about him.

AL moved in with TM when CL kicked him out the last time they were separated. Yes I'm sure most people involved with AL wish they could change that fact. I'm not a fan as I've said.

We are all in shock trying to figure out what it could be why they charged her. I honestly don't know. None of us do. The only thing we can think of is they need information and they found something circumstantial due to them living in same house and was able to get enough for a judge to sign an arrest warrant. We just don't think she is capable of this. I wish I knew. It's tore us all up.

I can imagine so. It is not something anyone would ever expect to happen to a friend. I agree, I have thought about all those women he was talking too online. Especially that one gal that he had the video of on his FB, where it looked like she was just a hook-up and they were at a hotel. I mean holy moly what must she think, knowing that just a few weeks ago, she spent the night with this guy in a hotel alone. I hope it makes her be a lot more careful.

I think out of character and desperation of needing help with bills. Yes I do think they met online. I can't say 100% but if I remember correctly she told me that was how they met. I know she liked motorcycles and I think that was the original attraction to him, that and he had money at the time to help her. I know that makes her sound bad but it is not like it sounds. She was a single mother who's ex was not paying his child support for the last year or more.

I will be back tomorrow.

I'm still looking for the vehicle post but it's not going good. I keep ending up back here in the current thread. It's bugging me now because I thought I read that here. This is the only forum like this I'm on.
Anyway: here's some more probably useless information.
1.
I attended ualr and was in the BSN program about 10 years ago. They did not do drug tests believe it or not.

2. I believe she may have lied to you about his drug use. I doubt she was that naive. If she was lying, you can bet it's because she was doing it too.
3. Urine tests are easily passed with products that you can drink if you know the test is coming and even shampoos for hair follicle texts are sold locally (little rock) and online.
5. It was BCs phone that she was charged with theft by receiving with. Found it in the court custody filing posted earlier.
6. I mean no disrespect to you at all and I appreciate you being here, but I think you've been lied to. If I'm wrong, I owe you a big apology and I will give it.

When he was wanted on Monday I didn't know what to think. My concern was her and her daughter. I didn't get the impression he could murder someone but he was a creeper as in a pervert IMO.

She did find out after they were married about his felony past because his parole officer told her. She kicked him out but allowed him back recently when he got the job at the concrete plant. When he was fired she tried to kick him back out but he would not leave. She was in the process of trying to move her and her daughter out but had not done it yet. I don't know why she kept staying. We all tried to tell her.

I have to say, I think I would be just as confused as you. I have had friends with creepy boyfriend's but never have I thought they would be capable of kidnapping or worse. I have known a lot of women and men too for that matter, who fall for that sweet talk and he seems like the type of many that lies as easy as he breaths, so her falling for all of his charm is not that far-fetched.

I know someone now that needs to get out of a relationship but it does no good to tell them. Not all, but nurses and caregivers seem to be the worse at picking a guy. I guess they think they can fix them or feel sorry for them and want to help them. Doesnt work. They just get drug down to their level. Those kind of guys are slick and know the right strings to pull to get the woman. Alot of them prey on single mothers because its harder for them to financially just get out.

I agree with concernedmother, you would be a good friend to have and I understand your supporting her. I mean even if someone we love does bad things, the love we feel doesn't just disappear. You have obviously had a good and caring relationship with CL and have had no reason to not believe her. Do you feel like you will go and see her? I just can't imagine what she would be thinking at this point, to have never had a criminal past and to now be in jail, with not hope of getting out anytime soon. Crazy.

Fair enough @savvyrose! I'm here for the truth to come out. I've already said I will apologize if I'm wrong.

She did not know the drug test was coming or the hair follicle. She was told to take it in custody court out of clear blue on morning they were in court last week. Her attorney accompanied her immediately to take the hair follicle and the pee test was taken on the spot. Both within an hour of each other.
IF there were drugs I am sure she would not want me to know. She did pass a drug test for school. They do give them for nursing students. That was verified.
You are right about #5. I did not want to post that myself. She did not know it was in her house. He must have had it there. IT was not hidden so LE informed her. It was in plain sight. So AL either did not know BC was dead or he is stupid.

We are all waiting to go see her. Many friends. She has a big support system of us who do not believe she is where she belongs.

She knew because they kept telling her they thought she knew something but it had died down and she had not heard anything from them nor had her attorney. The arrest was a shock to everyone. Yes he has been her attorney since a few days after AL was arrested. Pro bono is my understanding. She had no money to hire anyone. I think she was in shock during this time and under stress but what I saw was not a person who was struggling with helping with something like this. She was just like the rest of us trying to find information to figure out if AL had really been responsible for this.
She is very fortunate if he is going to take her case pro bono, I did read that he used to work for the public defenders office.

I will be back tomorrow. My brain needs to rest from this awhile. Thank you for hearing CL side of things and for being open minded. I too am open minded that I may not know all there is to know about my friend. I just know what my gut tells me. I know the person I have known for many years is not capable of such acts. God help me if I am wrong. I just don't think I am.

Thank you for being here. I think you will find most people here to be fair. Get some rest, I am sure this has been exhausting.

That is good for her that she does have people on the outside. Just knowing y'all are there for her I am sure will mean a lot.

I dont know what to think about him taking the phone home with him. Pretty stupid. I hope she wasnt killed over a phone.

I shouldn't have even posted the drug test at ualr Info because like I said, it's been a little over 10 years since I attended.

So are you saying they only charged her with the theft by receiving because the phone was in her house? When did they find it? If that truly is the case, it does sound like they rushed that arrest to keep her from going out of town like you said.

I know that was very stupid. I guess that answer's how they got AL on their radar so quickly. So much had been said about the phone prior to CL's arrest, even to the point of thinking that was how they found BC's body. So now I wonder how they found her?
