I am completely new to any kind of forum like this and this is my first post. I do live in Arkansas and have been watching "behind the scenes" on this forum from the beginning of BC's. case. Being a woman, mother and wife, her case has really disturbed me as it has most everyone here.
This is where everyone has to bear in mind that I am a newbie. But there was a post made awhile back, maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago? I am not even sure who the poster was but it was something to the effect of "what would you think if you knew CL had been wearing BC's earrings?"
Not even sure if that is correct but it was something similar to that. I wondered why no one questioned the user about what they meant?
I worked many years as an RN and I think that has made me more curious about things. I would just like to know if that was just a hypothetical type statement or did it actually mean something?
I apologize ahead of time if my first post sounds ridiculous. I have just been wanting to ask this for quite some time.

Welcome!

I think this is the post? Hopefully link goes diectly to the post....we'll see how good my ipad linking skills are this morning. Lol http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?263345-AR-Beverly-Carter-49-Little-Rock-25-Sep-2014-missing-realtor-6-ARREST&p=11252610#post11252610

At the time I thought it was just a hypothetical, but now I'm curious, too. Does the OP know something we don't know?

One thing the new pictures show that I had not realized before is that with the way the garage is situated makes the front of that house very secluded from the house right next door.

Here Carl Carter says he found the BC car here at 9 or little before 9. And he "heard she had a cash buyer- a referral- and she was kinda excited about that" so that makes me believe even more so, like the member posted on the first thread, she most likely just told him the address. http://www.fox16.com/story/d/story/...-speaks-out-i-ju/17900/GBhlSM4T5kysUFFVqwvR_w

Add: in the video, Carl C says the home on Kerr, had one of the locks where she would have had to use her phone I believe he said and they would have a print out. She hadn't been to the Kerr Rd address. So, with the Deputy putting in his report, KEY missing, I would feel it wasn't the one like Kerr Rd. Possible since AL was Mr. Magnet man, he could have opened it and been waiting for her...

I agree. And the drive appears to be pretty long.. so considering the 2 big bush/tree whatever that BC car was beside, leaves were pretty thick, and it getting near sundown, I sure visibility wasn't the best. The best vantage would be to the left and that's the way the road comes in off the main road. The 2nd home is if you leave the drive from this house 14202 turn left. I believe its a dead end, would have to go back and look again. That would be one reason Carl Carter looked there first, and coming down the road he would might be able to see her veh with headlights. But would have had to get up all way up to house to see for sure. JMO

I had not realized this either. Very very secluded, with the bushes and position of the front of the home. Makes me wonder if this might be why AL chose this home.

House is 205' from the street to the house. Per http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...014-missing-realtor-1&p=11027254#post11027254 the witness Mrs. Butler lives across street directly in front of this house at 14207. That house is much closer to the road. You see it in the interviews with Carl Carter in the in comment #146.

I am a visual person, a football field end zone to end zone is 300ft. http://www.courtdimensions.net/football-field/index.php So from road to house would be 68.33 yards. Still that's a pretty good ways from the road.

No one should feel that any question they ask might be considered snarky!...good question

I was thinking... IF AL and CL had texted during that time (if she wasn't with him) that could have something to do with them both being charged with same charges. They HAVE to have some reason they charged CL with same charges...we just gonna have to wait :gaah:

Just maybe she WAS involved in spite of her saying she wasn't??

CL did lie to a family member about knowing about the Kidnapping & Murder...It appears she knew before the sunday AL wrecked...

CL admitted to lying about it...

CL claims LE told her *they were going to get her*

Then she posts that awful Halloween picture with a knife to her throat---
When her friends told her *bad idea* she poo pooed them...

who does that??

She had to know that was wrong and upsetting ?? Heck she was told it was upsetting...
Does she even have a thought about what is right and what is wrong as long as she gets what she wants?
She comes across as feeling entitled , doing what ever it takes to get what she wants..IMO

Unless you know more than you are saying, I haven’t read anything that makes her seem entitled. Most entitled people have things. She had nothing of any worth. No fancy clothes, car etc. She bounced around from man to man, never even having a place of her own; you could obviously see from where they lived it was not a nice home or area. She seems very naïve to me, and like a person who has no self-worth or confidence.

The pictures were in very poor taste. Very, and there is no excuse for that. The only thing I can wonder is if she was trying too hard to make things seem normal. Of course, I don’t think there is any way that I could have even gotten dressed and gone out, with all the things that she had going on. Regardless, of whether she did/didn’t know/do anything. My world would have crumbled, just knowing I had married someone like AL. Whatever the outcome, her getting involved with AL has changed her life and her daughter’s life forever.

I want to reiterate something I said way back in a different thread--- the police can have VERY good evidence and judges will still not sign an arrest warrant. They have to have EXTRAORDINARY evidence in order for an order to be signed. I have not a single doubt in my mind that they have very strong evidence. I do not think the police, nor a judge, would run the risk of messing this up by just randomly arresting people in such a high profile case. And, they even went so far as to say "we believe they both played an equal part in this." No one said, she went along with his lead. No one said, she found out about something and didn't report. They said she is just as evil as him. That is what was said. I tend to believe the police, who are investigating and have more knowledge than all of us put together times 100. Not to say they don't ever get it wrong, but more often than not, they have it right!!!!

To me a *sense of entitlement* means much more than material things ---

entitled to do what they want, act like they want, say what they want...expects to be the center of attention... everything is always someone elses fault
I could go on and on but I think you might get the idea of my thoughts (maybe).... ;)

I should have chosen different wording, was not thinking when I said it that others would have a different definition ...

We need to rememeber that AL told EVERYONE about his criminal history including the neighbor when he first moved in, a total stranger. Not to mention posting it all over social media, a public forum for other total strangers to read all about it. So because of that I think we'd be unduly naive to believe CL had no clue who he was in the realm of his outlaw lifestyle and who he aspired to be. Unless she were super clueless and stupid which we have heard is not the case.

So she didn't discover mid kidnapping, or mid murder; OMG, I married a felon!

The big clue will be when she found out the extent of the crimes on Beverly and what her first response was. Wish this site had a poll option! Would like to see how many think she found out that night, the next day, Sunday, or when. If she lied to TL about when she knew, which she allegedly confessed to, we know it was before Sunday. Then you have to wonder why she didn't turn him in. He was arrested Monday while attempting to flee...with his gloves...

I have followed this from the very beginning but only finally got the nerve to post. I really don't consider myself a "sleuther", didn't even really follow this site until BC's death. Just bothered me so much about this murder. I also want to say that I have really been impressed with this site. To me, majority of posters here have been very considerate to each other. Regardless of who they are friends/family with.
Back to this post. My gut tells me that CL HAD to have known something pretty close to the beginning. Might even explain her strange behavior on FB and posting of the inappropriate pics. I just don't think you can live with someone as husband and wife and not realize what is going on. Plus the fact that LE has officially filed charges. Just my newbie opinion. Is there an abbreviation for that?? :-)

She stated Lewis texted her non-stop and at one point told her she better check her brakes before driving.

This is from an interview form 'Memphis Local' with one of AL's ex's. Shouldn't be dismissed as empty threats. Gives an interesting insight into his obsessive behavior and tendency to resort to violence, or at least threats of violence, when rejected. This is not uncommon unfortunately for that kind of guy. May not apply in Beverly's case but it's worth noting as an AL personality trait. I had a friend killed by one of those types and although he threatened many women before her, she was his first actual killing, and he claimed it was an accident...

Well now that you've stepped out of the lurking shadows and finally posted.... I think you are now an official "sleuther"... and there's no turning back from here..... ;) Welcome to Sleuthville!

Yes, that has been sad, but not proven. I have no idea if she is guilty or not. I know nothing about any of this cast of characters. But all we here on this forum have is speculation.
