That little wooden coffin frigging "prayer box" thingy is the last place I would put my beloved missing child's picture in.
The absolute last place.

I want to go a little backwards and sort out a picture of this relationship. Two adults, one with a minor child, not working. One drives, one rides a bike and may/may not boost the car on occasion. Minor child is home schooled, suffering possibly from medical or emotional disorders.

These two adults become engaged in November 2012 when one is 20 and one is 40 something, the child is 13. Mom self reports that the child began experiencing depression, manic or otherwise, the same year.

That has to cause a lot of pressure. TS indicates that her home was a safe haven of sorts...not really unusual when you have teens. But it seems likely, to me, that TS has been coached not to specify the nature of the discord in the home.

What is the source of income for these two adults?

Tonight is the first I have read / heard about the cemetery being searched. I presume you are speaking of Love Rest cemetery near the overpass. It is rarely used for burials anymore, but the EAST Lab computer class at the high school completed a full survey with GPS tech equipment only 2 or 3 years ago after we found an unmarked grave for a Vietnam casualty that was in the news. I know the Rice Hull truck route runs the road parallel to the tracks during the day using the north gate, but has to switch to the east gate (of the security fence enclosing the entire mill area installed after 9/11) after 6 p.m. I wonder if the resident conveyed that information (about the change in route) to Brandon which is a horrible correlation to the time she went missing. Over and over again, I am bewildered that Cassie is not being found -- because we are looking in so many reasonably "hot" areas!

Absolutely. I just have never been involved in a search where LE was disclosing that sort of potential evidence to civilian searchers. In fact, the exact opposite. That sort of potential crime has immense ramifications, both in and out of court and, well, it just seems rather irresponsible to me. But that's just my own experience. You had also mentioned, I believe, that you were only required to sign in for this search. No gov ID? Is that correct or do I have the wrong search?

Warning us that there could be parts found, was giving us an option to opt out of the search if we didn't think we could handle it. They wanted us to be ready for anything and everything.
Ya know, I'm not convinced that this information wasn't leaked out to completely throw off the suspect. I've been thinking the whole time, since there wasn't but one LE at the second search... what if while we were searching all these other places, what if there was a crime scene somewhere away from us where they were hoping someone would go and try to cover their tracks as they watched. I know that sounds a little conspiracy theory but I wouldn't past our LE enforcement to do something like that.

It was actually Lone Tree where they searched, along the side closest to the railroad tracks and gravel road, I do believe.

I'm curious about the interview given by TS and JC's account of the Cassie's return home. TS said that HS left to take Cassie home at 6:05 pm. A local said that the drive is approximately 15 minutes each way. TS said that HS returned home at 6:45 pm leaving a possible 10 minute gap. What if Cassie went inside, changed clothes, and left again with HS? Is it possible that her text about cigarettes reached him before he had gone very far and he came back for her? If he picked her up and then dropped her off at a convenience store it would explain why BR contacted TS asking about Cassie. I don't want anyone to think that I'm implying that HS did anything to Cassie, but I do wonder if too much focus is being put on JC and BR.

Agreed. I understand that a prayer box is (obviously) a place to put your prayers -- a tangible way for you to know that once you've put it to your God in a prayer, and put the text in the prayer box, that you are to not worry about it any more. It helps some people a lot, I'm sure. I've never seen one, btw, but it did look coffin-like to me, too -- especially the shape of the one she had -- it looked morbid to me. Please forgive, I am not trying to trivialize prayer boxes in the least. They have a wonderful purpose. But seeing little Cassie's picture in there did worry me & make me wonder... I might have put a prayer for her in there, but never her picture -- but that is me, not JC. I hope it did help her to perhaps sleep better at night, and to cope better in the daytime.

snipped for brevity

Beg your pardon? wth??
smh

Maybe it was just a IMO crude way to prepare searchers for what they might see. Dunno. It would really be a mood-changer for me to hear it as a searcher...

Am I the only one that finds it strange that BR took Cassie to the doctor for an apparent cold??? Considering her mum announced that 'the butt head is gone' on social media I would think him taking her anywhere would not be Cassies idea!!! I'm not going to type what I think the doctor visit may have been for because that's just speculating.... But it could explain some things!!! Can LE request doctors records for a missing person with parental consent?

MOO!!

They could certainly try -- but with the HIPAA laws now, I don't know how much the MD's can do.

Lone Tree cemetery? That's a lot further from home. On LT Road, there is a small bridge over King's Bayou (sewage plant runoff). Wondering if the John Deere place or even Stratton Seed has cameras to the SE to catch the less-traveled route to 10th Street / 79 cell tower intersection. Doesn't have a good place to turn around to busier 22nd / 79 B when going NW.

The doctor's visit -was it for the cough that was referenced in the txt conversation related in Letter to the Editor? Was it for the antidepressants referenced by JC in her latest interview?
The only Doctor visit from MSM I am aware of specifically is about Cassie's 'cold' or cough. The statements from JC that Cassie had a mental illness possibly bi-polar and was on anti-depressants implies she saw a Doctor. Is she did though why would JC say possibly bi-polar. The people I knew who were knew it for sure.
