When Judy Compton woke up around 8 p.m., her daughter was gone. That was a month ago. On Monday, the mother of the missing Stuttgart teenager sat down with FOX 16 reporter Leah Uko in hopes someone would find her daughter.

But why do they think it was him?

I'm thinking maybe gossip? Aren't he and JC considered suspects?

Its very speculative, Mrs g-but this is not a big community. And the current chief of police has a son who at a minimum was a material witness to a capital murder case. This may explain the speed with which the state police and the FBI entered this case. There may be some unexplored, but at WS almost unexplorable, relationships between the minors.

I've lurked and read but not posted as I can't make head nor tail of what happened to Cassie. But I totally agree 2 months is way too long and with very little info and coverage. Kudos to believe and Oriah and all others here and especially the locals for working so hard and keeping Cassies thread active. (sorry If I missed anyone, you all rock!)

I don't know how I can help but if blitzing twitter will help or you need a map making let me know. I'm far from an expert lol and by far from local (I'm in the UK) but I do like to play around with maps. I'm more than happy to help if needed.

FB is a weird world. So much of her family seems so silent on FB. I guess it could be not really using it or understanding the power it could have.

Not sure I can say it so please remove if I can't but almost two months ago it looks like somebody hacked into a relative's account and tagged said relative with Cassie two days AFTER she is being reported as missing. That is so creepy to me. Who would do that if that's what happened? Makes me go HMMMM.. Sorry if it's been mentioned before. I couldn't find it reading through the threads.

I was trying to find a connection between Cassie/family & people mentioned in article above, with no luck.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here-but after catching up-am I missing something? Was there no coverage to mark the 2month day for Cassie? I know there was a "porch light vigil" online, but was nothing done in town to call attn to her? No candle light vigil at her home where she was seen last w a sermon by her church leaders? Or at the church if it was too cold? This breaks my heart, has everyone just moved on from the idea of her being missing in the local area minus our VIs? Where did TwinMama go? It looks like she hadn't been seen in a week-am I missing something? Again I apologize for being blunt here but holy cow a child is missing here.
Wonder if a reporter has tried talking to BR behind bars yet? Is certainly try to get him to leak something...

I know. It breaks my heart. I'm going to do some research and see who I can get to notice little ol' me on twitter. There's gotta be more resources out there. I wonder how close Cassie actually was to her other siblings. My husband has half-sisters who are younger than him - and a mom who isn't selective with the men she lets in & out of their lives - but he loves them to death & if they went missing we'd be down where they live so fast living out of our car if we had to just to be near where they were last seen & to do any and everything to find them. She had a guy in the house when my husband and I were first dating. My husband was visiting for the weekend but was out with his other brother when nom's BF shoved a gun down his mother's throat and threatened to kill the girls. My husband decided to kill this guy. Like legit had his mind made up. Thankfully the cops came before he could, but his defense mechanism went into full gear. I mean, I can't dictate how everybody in the world should behave but where are these older siblings? These brothers should be out in full force finding their sister! Everybody is just SO quiet. Breaks me heart for Cassie & I hope she wasn't this alone her whole life.
