Here is the blue tank top picture-I might have dreamed that I put it up lol...

bumping in case I missed the answer. There is also a photo from SM that seems to show Cassie in a blue tank top with a blue stud in one of her ears...

TS confirmed the blond hair after the poster maker described the black, cut hair rumor to her. I felt it was important enough to double check color as of that Sunday night in case someone did discover hair clumps that had been cut off. I met Cassie when she had the darker brown like in the tank top picture. It is on Cassie's FB somewhere if we need to get an exact date. I hadn't really noticed the stud before, but yes it is distinguishing as a physical feature. (Often, kids use stick-on silver dots for what look like small nose piercings, though.)

So Cassie's hair is blonde in that tank top picture and it looks like she has a blue stud in her ear. I wonder if this was the blue tank top that she may have left the house in?

But what shade of blonde-does anyone know? We need to know current shade to that we can point people to it, right? TS confirmed to who?

My husband went to the Jacksonville/Cabot area the Thursday after she went missing. At that point we were unaware of the situation. I told my husband on Friday night that she was missing and he went to her house to tell JC and BR that he was pretty sure he had seen her in Jacksonville/Cabot the previous day. BR looked at him smirking and said "You saw her with your own two eyes, huh?" and then giggled. My husband said it was one of the creepiest things he had ever heard and it made the hair on his body stand up. At this point, there was no evidence that would lead one to believe in foul play. A few days later my husband drove them up to the area (at JC's request) and he showed them where he thought he saw her and they went door to door to some businesses asking about her and passing out flyers. My husband and BR had some time to talk by themselves that day. My husband went to LE as soon as they returned home and told LE what BR had said. I don't know if I can say anymore than that, it might be relevant evidence that LE is working with, I don't know... no one knows.

TY STM. Must have been incredibly disturbing.

STM-had your husband seen Cassie shortly before she disappeared? You said he sold some cars for JC and BR right or worked on them? What did Cassie look like the last time he saw her and about when was that??? :) You may be our missing link to specific info. :blowkiss:

Now looking at the photo you would think that this is the left side of Cassie's face but there is no scar, so did she take it in a mirror? LOL, as if there should be more twists and turns here.

So if we delve into teen and town influences in terms of groups, accessibility to weapons and if gun shows are an attraction, criminal activities including drug distribution and more specific details regarding Cassie herself...well maybe we can move the ball a little here.

Most importantly the momentum regarding flyers and the like....

GUNS -- The biggest point about access I would like to address is whether the household might have a handgun versus rifle or shotgun. There are homes with handguns for protection, but most people in this area are more familiar with long guns. When working in the levees in wet rice fields, farmers usually have a .22 rifle handy all summer for killing the moccasins (unless they just prefer chopping head with shovels). Those are the rifles that would be in the pickup window gun racks a generation ago (mentioned by SaucyGal). During deer season, we use 30-06 (older military-type), .308 or 7mm rifles that allow some room for error shooting at a distance. To kill waterfowl, a shotgun with shotshells filled with "BBs" size chosen by type of bird you are aiming at (little teal to big, ugly goose). With BR being an outdoorsy type, if he hunted, he might own a long gun. IMO he is more likely to hunt deer than duck because duck hunting requires more expensive gear to wear in the cold blinds, big waders -- and you really have to have access to a good dog to go retrieve your ducks for you out of the water. If there is a criminal element, even the fear of criminals, . . . handgun? AND TO MAKE YOU SMILE -- Everyone, including girls, took Hunters Safety in middle school when I was growing up as six weeks of PE curriculum. In junior high, one history teacher who did Civil War re-enactments would even set up his tent in the classroom once a year to demonstrate how to make and fire musketballs.

I think the tank top pic is from Aug 2011, so my guess would be that it is not the exact same tank top.

Do people shop for weapons at gun shows? Does each household maybe have multiple weapons? This goes back to the conversation regarding prepper groups-do people keep extra weapons in shelters?

My other specific question to our verified insiders is regarding influences in town and with teens in town-gangs, preppers, church, sports-who does what? What is the biggest influence on the teens in town? I see a lot of wanna be gangstas on the social media platforms.

Excuse me for quoting myself but I wanted to bump the list of outstanding questions since I see both Got4 & STM online.....

I am going to bump me too, lol...

I know we are being urgent which is overwhelming. If you want to take this off line, we can for sure.

My husband and I had a shop that was 2 blocks away from Cassie's house. He would often see her walking up and down the road. He had not seen her in a few months when she went missing. He thought he had seen her the week after she went missing about 70 minutes from here but when asking around the area about her there was a girl that lived in the area that looked similar and around the same age as Cassie, which is who he probably saw.

We don't have an actual gun show in Stuttgart, but there is one each year (usually January) in Little Rock. I haven't attended, but my brother has. They have hunting knives there, too, that can be used to dress the kill. I think part of why the show has to stay in a larger market is the need to have a temporary, but official, "record check" station set up at the time of purchase. Most hunters would shop for long guns at Mack's to get the best advice, tips and options; then if the price were too high for what they decide they want, someone might head on over to Wal-Mart to save money. I've never shopped at a pawn shop, so I don't know what that routine is like.

Farm families, like mine, will typically have one of each of the long guns I described -- one for snakes, one for deer (or coyotes) and one for waterfowl. They could have more if they really do hunt a lot with multiple hunters in the household. Sometimes, there are the inherited guns like one from grandfather or uncle. If a farmer works as a duck guide in winter months, they very likely have multiple guns in a heavy gun safe if their hunters fly in from out-of-state. (Dick Cheney has hunted in the area some years -- flying Air Force Two into the Stuttgart airport.) Some hunters will pay $500 - 1000 a week to come in like a vacation package. Or some regional people who don't have their own property will be part of a club where they've paid a share and have rights to come into the private property whenever they choose to do so. Upscale clubs provide meals, dogs, guides who teach the four kinds of calls, etc. Some clubs are simply bunkhouses, whereas others are so nice they get used for retreats, wedding dinners and catered receptions during off-season. Other than clubs, there are the public places like the White River Wildlife Refuge which have officers about and rules being enforced. That's close to Casscoe.

TY! What kind of officers-police?

Some cameras on phones and laptops actually re-project the image which makes it in reverse. That's what I was mentioning about the gang hand signs taken in mirrors. I had a grad school professor who learned to not even try writing anything on the board behind her when she was simulcasting a lecture because it came out backwards for some people -- and that wasn't fair!
