Do they know how long they had been left there? A night? A week? Or not sure?

What the stories we've just recounted make clear is that a woman who doesn't know she's pregnant won't have attended ante-natal clinics so won't be on any clinic's or doctor's radar as pregnant. It also seems very likely that the mother of these babies hasn't attended a doctor or clinic for post-natal care since such a patient would surely have been flagged up by now in view of the discovery of the bodies. I know she would ordinarily be entitled to confidentiality but equally she might be in need of medical attention and so far we don't know whether the deaths are potentially suspicious or not.

In short, she could be completely under the radar with regards to her pregnancy.

TWIN INFANTS RECOVERED DECEASED IN ARKANSAS

On February 16, 2018 authorities discovered twin infants, one boy and one girl, along County Road 602 near #Wynne in Cross County, #Arkansas. The infants are believed to have been deceased approximately two weeks.
At the scene authorities recovered a Hi Pack brand purple suitcase with wheels, an orange duffel bag with “Tigers 3” embroidered along the side, and a pair of red pants that depicted multiple images of a polo player. Digital reconstructions of these items were created by a #NCMEC Forensic Artist and featured below.
In attempts to identify these infants, authorities are asking for any information on a female that was pregnant, possibly had a due date between February and March 2018, and no baby is accounted for. If you have any information that could help identify these infants, please contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST

Heartbreaking....

Until they are ID'd, I'm naming them Elsie and Elliot in my head. They deserve names and they deserved to live.

Are there any high-schools in the area with a Tiger as their mascot?

The orange duffel bag makes me think it belonged to someone on a sports team and their jersey number was 3...

Now that we have a picture of the suitcase I think we can rule it out as belonging to the missing teen I linked above. Her suitcase had a cursive "J" on it. This suitcase does not have a "J".

I'm not finding a list of AR school Mascots, so I'm going to make a list as I find reference to Tigers:

Parkin
Crawfordsville
Little Rock Central
Pangburn
Timbo
Armorel
Casa
Glenwood
Mansfield
Green Forest
West Fork
Bentonville
Valley Springs
Charleston
Prairie Grove

This is all I can find for now. Parkin seems to be the closest geographically.

Gardener, I was literally just looking into this myself... then I saw your post.

I first randomly looked at Bentonville. But, Bentonville is about 5+/- hours away. Their school colors are black, white and gold. I then looked at Pangburn. Pangburn is roughly an hour and a half away (both of these distances were found via Google Maps app info) but their school colors are Red and White so they wouldn't be using orange.

Edited to add: And from what I have found, Crawfordsville school district combined with Marion School district. The Crawfordsville high school closed in 2005.

Parkin High closed in 2006.

Thanks! That was going to be my next project to look up the colors. The closed schools could still be relevant-- it would just mean the bag is older. The owner of the bag might not be a teen or they might have taken the bag from their parents. Or the bag was not originally the mother's-- it could have come from a thrift store, roommate, father of the child, etc.

You can rule out Auburn University. Their colors are navy and orange.

Narrowing down the list with colors:

Parkin -- Orange and Black (School closed in 2006)
Crawfordsville - Orange and Bright Blue
Little Rock Central - Black and Gold
Pangburn - Red and White
Timbo -Black and Gold
Armorel - Black and Orange
Casa -- Actually called Perry-Casa, colors Blue and Grey, merged with Two Rivers In 2004
Glenwood -- Bright Blue and Yellow, Merged with Centerpoint High in 1995
Mansfield -Red and White
Green Forest - Red and White
West Fork -Gold and Black
Bentonville - Black and Gold
Valley Springs - Green and White
Charleston - Black and Gold
Prairie Grove - Black and Gold

Looks like Parkin and Armorel are the only High Schools so far in AR with Orange and Black Tigers. There might be more schools, however as I only found 15 schools with Tigers and supposedly there were 18 schools with Tiger mascots in 2012.

Gardener! :loveyou: Thank you for doing this! I will have a look out. We have some family down in Little Rock... (a little way out but gonna see what she knows anyway!)

You guys are doing an amazing job! When I posted about the duffel bag last night, my little guy was up having a hard time with teething pain. I so wanted to do some research but wasn't able.

I live in NW Arkansas and have little ones myself so I feel a bit more invested in this case than I normally would.

So moving on with finding schools with the Tiger mascot and colors of orange and black, I'm guessing that the primary color would be orange. Most schools have a main sports uniform that they wear and then one with the colors reversed... one for "home" games and one for "away" games or other various situations.

I hope I'm making sense, I'm running on very little sleep.

Also I'm wondering how available high school sports rosters are online, and how far back they go. I suppose each school is different.

Obviously we can't start posting the names of current and previous students that wore a #3 jersey but I plan on privately looking into this.

BBM. Yes, this exactly.

A reminder for everyone that we can NOT post names or links to any students who had a #3 but we can look privately. And if we find someone with a connection to a #3 bag that may have been pregnant recently (or had a pregnant girlfriend, daughter, etc), we should call it in. I also wanted to mention that there is a possibility the person who put the babies in the bag is reading here. So besides the TOS that is a big reason NOT to post if we find anything specific. We would not want to inadvertently tip off the person that we are onto them before the police have a chance to follow up on the tip.
