LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The North Little Rock Police Department requested the activation of a silver alert from the Arkansas State Police for a 53-year-old woman.

Elizabeth Williams was reported missing on Monday at 1:30 p.m. and was last known to be at 4500 North Locust Street.

Police said Williams is described as five feet two inches, weighs 100 pounds, has long brown wavy hair, and has blue eyes.

According to the authorities, there is no known vehicle that Williams could be driving.

Williams was last seen wearing a black ankle-length dress with a white dot print and was not wearing her glasses.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Silver Alert for a woman missing out of North Little Rock ended when police found her body Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday morning, NLRPD detectives requested assistance from the Arkansas Department of Corrections K-9 tracking dogs to help with the search. The K-9 team that responded ultimately located Williams’ body in a wooded area just east of Locust Street.

Upon finding the body, detectives began a death investigation. Police said Williams’ body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
