Thanks for the prayers and we will all wait as patiently as we can for justice for Jeremy. As for flying, I am on a plane at least 4 flights a week, so, I am past being scared of that..

Missing Jeremy today and everyday. Thank you all for all your support. Theist frustrating thing is not hearing anything progressing with the case. I really dont understand why it's taking so long to get the info on the knife they found.

i dont understand why its taking so long either but i hope they are doing every test available to determine if it was the one used. one thing i have learned here at websleuths is justice moves at a snails pace. the folks here care so much and give so much of their time and energy trying to locate missing people while over in the unidentified section they are working night and day to try and match unidentified remains with reports of missing people. many here are victims themselves and everyone understands the frustration of waiting for answers. we are all on your side, jeremysmom, and we wont stop until jeremy has justice.

Well, it is just a couple of days before Thanksgiving and we are all meeting at Jeremy's Aunt K's just right down the block from Jeremy's parents. This again, will be another tough holiday for them to get through, 2 missing people, 2 empty chairs. But, Jeremy's parents will cook 2 turkeys and some pies, his aunts and uncles will bring side dishes and we will all sit around and remember him. Cousins and grandbabies will play. Life goes on, but, the hurt does not go away. J 4 J

Thanksgiving was pretty quiet this year and everyone left early. Our hearts just weren't in it. They say no news is good news. But, this is painful--this waiting.

I plan to be at the hearing with one of my sons. I want Walter to see our faces in the court room. A little concerned on how we are going to be able to compose ourselves, especially my son.

I wish I could be there with you. Can KSKT go? This should go ok since he pled guilty on the parole violation. I can't imagine how hard it will be to sit in the same
room with him. I love you and will keep you in my thoughts.

i hope all went smooth today. i have been thinking about ya'll and praying for strength for you to get through. hugs to you all.

I did not speak to anyone directly who attended so I may not have everything correct.
I spoke to another sister (not Jeremy's mom) and was told that they brought him in at noon when court was pretty much cleared out. 2 of our brothers, her son, and her best friend were with J's mom. She stood up and when he saw her he halted/faltered. She thought he smirked at her. But, it may have been nervousness. Anyway, it went fairly smoothly, as he got 14 yrs added to his sentence and should be at Tucker prison now. He said he would appeal and that he had evidence that would exonerate him (not sure if he meant the murder or other charges?). Evidently they found drug paraphenalia and he said part of it was his and part was not. Hie revocation was based on battery (?) and drug charges. He also pontificated at the fact that the Tucker Law Library needed upgraded, so, we suspect , he will be filing yet another lawsuit about prisoner's rights (I won't tell you how that makes me feel). He also fired his public defender, represented himself and now 'needs more time' to prepare for the trial and to obtain a new lawyer. Shrewd and cunning... I hope and pray that the righteous judgement of God will prevail. I also hope that this brings comfort to another of Walter's victims, his ex-girlfriend, in that she can feel somewhat safe again.
Finally, I hope he realizes now that Jeremy has a STRONG family and friends who are united and supportive in seeking JUSTICE 4 Jeremy.
