And my sister had bothing to so with the acual crime. now any time you go to court your bondsman is there and an attorney told us that it is like dustin wallen was never charged and as today was preliminary hearing and dustin has not had one he can not by federal law have a trial date with out one. Thats why i asked wonder why Yes my quesstion is why go conyinue against the woman and not him

He will get his. I'm sure you are concerned about your sister and her children . Jeremy had 2 children of his own and they both are living without their father.

As a mother, what has astounded me from the beginning, from the morning of September 11, 2010 when I received that devastating call, is how a person, any person, especially a mother, especially 2 mothers, could have left a person brutally and horrifically beaten and stabbed to die in a yard. I cannot fathom why NO ONE in that car dialed 911 either during the attack, or after the attack. Especially the women! One can assume there was a cell phone in the car on one of the four! There is evidence to support that. Even leaving out WW's cell phone, it would be very difficult to believe that there was not a phone on Dustin, Deanna, or Wendy. I would have to ask a sibling of mine why they did not make that call. Please show some decorum. This is a forum for victims and their families. Victims who have seen the body of their loved one and viewed FIRSTHAND the brutality of what occurred that night.

My son had a huge head wound. His forehead was cratered in. That injury occured right after he got out of the car. Then was chased a block while he was knocking on doors for help he was beaten and stabbed to death. The girls had plenty of time to call for help. They were in the apt complexes parking lot where Jeremy lived. Why didn't they knock on a door? Everyone there knew what was going on in my opinion from the start . How could you not know when you saw Lee bash Jeremys head in?

I have to be honest you are telling me things i have had not heard and i am not sure the police dept is being completely truth or they do not know but i have read 2 of the statements written and that is not even said. about right out of the car

Walter is NOT a victim, Dustin is NOT a victim, Wendy is NOT a victim, Deanna is NOT a victim. These people are either murderers, abettors, hinderers, and/or witnesses of the VICTIM, Jeremy Lee Travis' death. <modsnip> I continue to pray for justice, God's will, karma, whatever it is --- I believe what goes around comes around.

The 2 statements you read probably were from Dustin, Deanne or Wendy. There were other witnesses..

Hello everyone!

I know this is a very tough case and know you are all heartbroken. However there are some things that need to be kept in mind.

Yes, here at WS, missingmysister is considered a victim of this tragedy. It appears that he/she has a sibling that was involved in this crime. Maybe as more than a witness. It is heartwrenching to be told that a member of your family may have been involved in the loss of a life and it can leave you dazed and confused and heartsick as you try to puzzle out the pieces of what happened.

This is a public forum and she/he is welcome to post here. Everybody must be respectful of each other. He/she may not break the TOS, but neither may you.

If you have any questions, please let me or any of the other mods know and we will be happy to answer them for you.

My prayers go out to all of you and to Jeremy,

Salem

I found a picture of Jeremy today. He is about 7, sitting on the beach in a tide pool in Panama City, Florida, holding his chubby baby brother in his little tanned arms, his hair sun bleached and sort of golden . He is squinting into the sun with a little smile on his face. That is the Jeremy that I remember.

Talked to the prosecutor today. Guess I'm gonna have to make a big decision.

We will all be here to support your decision, whatever that decision may be. We will continue to pray for justice for Jeremy, and for his two little boys, who were left without a father. They both look just like him. Sometimes when I see their photo's I think they are pictures of Jeremy as a child. I have to really look to figure out if it is an old photo of Jeremy. No child should ever have to attend the funeral of their father as Jeremy's oldest boy did. How very sad. No young sibling should have to attend the funeral of their big brother in the church where they were baptised, had their First Holy Communion, married, and baptised their own children.

True and it is also sad that the younger siblings and or children of Jeremy may have to be at a parole hearing in years to come.

My heart goes out to each and every one of you involved in this case.

Nobody wants to ever thing that their loved one could be killed or be involved in something like this.

May God surround each and every one of you in his arms.

I do not know how I could ever make the decision to let this person who has committed and been convicted of at least one murder, to take a plea to manslaughter and 10 or 20 years more in prison. Or, then having to make a 'counter' offer' based on the murder of her child. But, my sister is strong enough to persevere, and to make whatever choice that is best for Jeremy and our family. I support her in any decision she makes. I hope to be at any of the parole hearings myself to support her, Jeremy's siblings and his sons. Right now, even if a trial occurs and he is convicted of murdering Jeremy, this will be a long hard road to peace and closure. I look at his 2 sons with their big brown eyes and jug ears and I see him in their faces, eyes, smiles and mannerisms. God bless you, Jeremy. We love you and will continue to fight for your justice.

I Love you Jeremy and for the rest of my life will fight for justice for you! The prosecutor has been difficult and rude. We have a meeting tomorrow to speak to her . I will do everything in my power to get justice for you. Lee is trying to make deals but I have turned them down. I do believe he is panicking Good let him
Sweat he wouldn't be making deals if he was innocent .
