Jeremy we are thinking of you this Christmas. We all miss you and continue to deal with our loss. We have not forgotten you and grieve your loss as we do the recent loss of your grandparents. I know you were glad to see them. It will be a sorrowful Christmas without the three of you but we will speak of you and of them and reminisce about the wonderful memories we have of the three of you. God bless you today and always Jeremy.

Tomorrow is the second anniversary of your death. We all love and miss you and think of you everyday. Your mother had a beautiful epitaph she wrote engraved on your headstone. In it she mentions your beautiful sons so their names will always be there with you. Your death continues to sadden and haunt us and we will make sure that justice continues to be served. Walter Walton in his cowardice and in his total lack of regard for anyone other than himself, continues to torture the family by selfishly seeking an appeal. As always, he is self serving and does not respect the decision of the 12 men and women who unanimously made the decision to find him guilty of First Degree Murder. Because of his history of serious violent felony offenses, he received life without parole. Walter Lee Walton can continue to appeal his conviction all the way to the Federal Supreme Court. The family will continue to fight any appeal and will follow any and every motion for appeal regarding Jeremy's murder that WLW makes from here to kingdom come and back. We have read every single page of all the court transcripts and all of the pre-trial evidentiary hearings, motions, interviews, etc. We check the Arkansas Judiciary System every week to keep ourselves apprised of any information regarding docket # CR 11-884. Walter Walton is attempting to get an appeal of his murder conviction based on the fact that he feels he did not knowingly and intelligently waive his right to counsel. This after a multitude of warnings by the judge that this ( representing himself as lead counsel ) was a VERY bad idea. WLW ignored all of the warnings and clearly stated that he knew what he was doing and that despite the warnings he wished to represent himself. If he is granted a new trial there is something grossly wrong with the Arkansas Criminal Justice System. On this second anniversary of your death Jeremy, we are continuing to fight for you. We love you Jeremy. Continued Justice for Jeremy!!!

The above note was actually written by my sister. I planned on adding something but, it feels as if I was the one that wrote that note. I can't add anything more. WE will always fight any appeal. We will always miss you and love you, Jeremy. We will always seek justice for your murder.

Today is your 30th birthday Jeremy. I am thinking of you today and of your mother who continues to grieve for you. She received a small measure of peace with the news that WLW's appeal was denied. On the days that mark the anniversary of your death, your birthday, and the day of WLW's conviction, we all suffer a bit more, and your mother suffers terribly. There are little glimmers of you in your children, who look just like you, and your mother loves it when she gets to see them. They are sweet little guys and the little one has a sweet little face with little gaps in his teeth like you did as a boy. I hope you know that their names are there with you on your headstone. We miss you everyday and hope that you know how much we all love you.
