Wasn't the Facebook post on the 16th and this murder was four days later?

WOW. When I first read your post about him the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I had a strong gut feeling that you were on to something.

I had a strong gut feeling, too. But then when I looked at a bunch of the parents' other friends on fb, I had a strong gut feeling about them, too! What a group! But I was still pretty sure it was Holly. I think it's possible that DesaRae left to keep Brandon company during his shift at EZMart and asked her neighbors to keep an eye on the house.

Yes. I think the mistake might be that his wife caught him in some kind of abuse situation.

It's unfortunate for BT that he was a new man in the household and professed his love for the girls so early. It's very possible he's a wonderful guy who falls in love easily. I hope so. I hope he's a good guy for DesaRae and her other child's sake. I see a lot of dashed hopes among this network of friends.

In retrospect, it is interesting that he married a woman with a child. In his photos isn't there a picture of Jersey?

I wonder if he's a Juggalo? He says he loves Dexter, Natural Born Killers and Insane Clown Posse.

AND, one of his favorite quotes is from Silence of The Lambs.....

I friend of mine has a son who was a Juggalo -- My friend stated that they have a very interesting view of the world & of violence. ICP lyrics are frightening to me -- I could only stand a few minutes of listening to them... Not saying Holly was a Juggalo -- no idea -- just saying what little I know about them & ICP.

I think that's a different child.

She was 'charming' in that interview...wonder if she knew and wouldn't talk to LE.

She's the one who claimed to have been to jail 8 times in 4 years on fb. Bride and Groom.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that he liked ICP, I figured he was possibly interested in that lifestyle. That little subculture IS quite frightening. There are a lot of "wannabes" out there too, but I have to wonder if he was a Juggalo, if that along with his obvious pedophilia pushed him over the edge.

Know what's sad?

When I was a little girl, and a not-so-little girl, there were three different neighbors I could go to, when I wanted to. A lady who I called "Gram" and her husband "Gramp"; the lady down the street who had a dog named Solo and an apricot tree in her yard; and my neighbor across the street, a man. His wife had passed, and he lived alone.

My friend - let's call him "Frank" (not his real name) kept a chicken coop, and he'd let me come over and look for eggs, feed the chickens, and help with his yard. He'd make me tea (he was Irish), and we'd garden together; and when harvest time came, he'd let me do the picking. He was a good, good man...

When I look back, I see nothing but good...I'd ride my bike up and down the block, often well after dark, coming to or from the neighbors houses. I loved my block - I'd see them when I left for school, when I came home from school...there wasn't a problem with me going for a walk or visiting a neighbor without my parents or brother with me. I'd just say "I'm going..." and I'd go.

I came to no harm at all. I learned a ton about people, gardening, chickens, apricots, Ireland, and everything in between. If I needed help with homework, I could go ask them, as well as my parents.

I guess what I'm saying is that times really have changed, and not for good. What happened to my childhood safety? Why is this happening to our children, when it didn't happen to me? Why?

Bless little Jersey's heart...fly free, little angel, dance in Heaven, soar in the clouds. Be free, be joyous, and know that you are loved and missed.

Best-
Herding Cats

I'm with you Jacie, an old childhood nursery rhyme is ringing in my ears.

That was exactly my first thought.

I wonder if this was a burglary that went bad.

I feel so bad for having the thoughts that it could be him running through my head. I am so so sorry for those thoughts but I thank God that it wasn't her family as she knew it. She'd already been through that once. She didn't need to go through it again. No child ever deserves anything but goodness, love and more love.
RIP Jersey. You are loved and will never be forgotten!
