I didn't see this heart-breaking case posted.

While the little guy's mother was still in hospital due to complications from childbirth, his father got "frustrated" and punched the baby in the head, killing him, then left the body in their apartment and took off. Mother and grandmother made the discovery two days later. I can't even imagine what she is feeling.

The mom wasn’t even released from the hospital, she checked herself out. Hopefully she’s okay medically.

I wondered about this. Only because I know a woman that had Csection complications after being released, returned & was admitted and her baby stayed with her, for the entire duration of her stay.

That's how it should be. But who knows? Maybe it was an option. Irrational guys like this need to run the show, 24/7. Maybe he insisted on having baby home with him.

Probably insurance. When my daughter was born I was released after the 2 days cause I was physically good but my daughter remained in the nicu. I had to stay in a room that was just a bed in the birthing unit. They only had one and it was first come first serve.
