This is what probably frightened them most. They felt that there was something going on that shouldn't have, but did not have the words to adequately express what had happened so they could get clarification from their parents that they were assaulted.

I think it's pretty clear JB is jockeying for their show back when he says ' should our whole family be PUNISHED because of the actions of one '? He feels they are being punished vs. what I view which is you pulled a bait and switch on TLC. You sold them this wholesome never-do-a-bad-thing family and that's not at all what it is. TLC should sue the Duggars back for money they took on false pretenses IF the Duggars sue TLC and I reckon they will.

When exactly did the girls get "accredited, professional counseling from a counselor", Jim Bob? It had to have been after 2007 because in December 2006 the interviewees all said there had been none other than Josh going away to Little Rock.

Probably Jim Bob then taught the sexually molested, some raped (as defined by penetration) daughters how to play putt putt golf just like he did so very appropriately & wholesomely, right in front of them, using their mother as role model. Un Freakin' Believeable IMO that TLC was placing (this is IMHO) on the Boob Tube (fyi - I have no tv set...haven't for years and years...)

The Sheriff’s Office had never even heard of In Touch Magazine until the story hit the national and local TV news. We have not been in contact with them before this story aired or after. The written FOI request we complied with was from an Abtin Mehdizadegan of the Little Rock, Arkansas Law Firm of Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus that we received on May 15, 2015. We mailed the documents on May 21 to Little Rock.


The files were not sealed.

I read in the newspaper published in whatever major city is closest to That Family that a reporter simply stumbled on the file mistakenly set out mixed in with public records at the court records office. Mistakes happen.

Think of this: Suppose some other 15 y old boy, say, a male babysitter at the Duggar home had sexually molested and raped (by legal definition, rape includes penetration) 5 Duggar children. Using the Rocket Scientist reasoning of ole' JimBob, well, if it happened one time, then no biggy-pass go and collect $200, if it happened two times- no biggy just tell the babysitter just to pray a tinch xtra---after all the babysitter is just a child, if it happens three times-no biggy but I'm thinking I am getting a 'C-' in parenting + LOL God is testing me' LOL, if it happens four times and the molestation/rape is the 15 year old on a 5 year old little girl - LOL I will have that babysitter go do construction work for 3 month & we will shed tears as we drive off LOL and oh BTW, the 15 y old cannot possibly be a pedophile because you can only be a pedophile if you were 16 or over and did that................ Euww !!!!!!!!!

IMO, the parents ought to go do 3 years in prison and then get locked up indefinitely in a max' security psych unit for the crimi_lly in@ane. IMO

It's possible you have to be an AR citizen to do a FOIA request in that state. Or In Touch didn't want to be the requester on record. He's who actually filed the FOIA request, so that's why he received the files.

I believe that, because the pedophile state trooper said the same thing, that JimBob and Josh said there was only ONE incident with ONE girl.

In the new interview from prison, Hutchens said he was told by Jim Bob and Josh that “Josh had inappropriately touched [redacted] during the time she was asleep. He said he touched her through her clothing and he said it only happened one time.”

She and Josh will go back to their new dilapidated house in Arkansas that they bought for $55,000 this year and rely on JimBob to support them somehow.

If it's true....

It sounds like she was misled, the molestations minimized and spun around like what we've seen the family do in regards to Josh's crimes. If that's the case, I don't fault her for that, we can't know (unless she tells us!) how the story was sold to her before the decision to marry him was made. And who knows who was actually in control of her choice...

I hope that if she wants out, she takes shelter in the media coverage, as backwards as that sounds. She will have TONS of support if she uses that resource to her advantage! I can almost guarantee that she can have training, a job, help with the kids, whatever she needs if she just asks outloud.
