Let's watch the Duggars WORK, at JOBS, like I (and most Americans) do, until I am brain-fried and I can't sleep at night thinking about all I need to do AT WORK the next day.

Nobody paid for my home but ME. And I have one child (plus steps), and nobody ever paid me for having them. Weird concept, but we always supported our OWN kids financially and decided not to have more than we could support both financially and emotionally.

I know you're making a joke, but...(aside from the fact that a vasectomy would not stop Josh from molesting given what we know of his preferred methods)

The only Duggar fundraiser I'd donate to would be one whose first priority would be to get the female children away from those parents and pay for their education in whatever field they chose to pursue.

And although of course the sperm and incubator donors (somehow I can't bring myself to refer to them as "parents" a second time) would have visitation rights, the girls would also be undergoing therapy to transition them out of the Middle Ages and into the modern world so they'd know that they have just a few more life options besides being housekeepers, babysitters, brood mares, sexual partners expected to be compliant 24/7, or any combination thereof.

If the second priority was to teach the male children that the females don't exist solely to serve them, even better.

If it was a one-off half-hour special, I'd imagine it would draw a lot of viewers, in the same way that people watch spectacular events like fires or train wrecks. But I'd wonder what sort of self-respecting company would think it wise to sponsor the show -- more likely, those willing to buy advertising time would be almost as nutty as the Duggars, and it's unlikely that they would have the cash to tempt TLC, especially in light of the blowback it would certainly receive for airing such an ill-conceived show. Despite the support they still have among some extreme right-wing Christians, I think that the days of Duggars polluting television on even mid-range networks are done.
