If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the end-game of the Quiverfull Movement - to create an "army" for god? If one doesn't intend to overthrow the existing government & create a new government, why the need for a physical army?

I think they mean an army of soldiers engaging in Christian warfare. But yes, once they take over the government I don't know why would they need any kind of army at all, especially because when things go wrong God will do the punishing.

If I am 100% honest, I do not feel bad for his wife one bit. She is an adult. She chose him and now is choosing to stay with him KNOWING all this. His sisters were children. They did not have a choice.

Although, I do think his wife may be a bit like Priscilla Waller. As in "a little slow". Which is probably what made them so attractive to their grodie husbands.

I think they're intent on creating a political army - if they have hundreds/thousands of kids who can't think for themselves and who do whatever their fathers/husbands/pastors tell them to do, they'll vote for whomever/whatever they're told.

Just as the scripture I posted above says, there are many, many people who claim to be Christians and do, say, create things in His Name. My beliefs don't align with any movement, sect, denominations, reconstructions, or theocracies. My beliefs as a Christian are to live as close to Jesus' example as possible. The whole point of Christianity is the following and accepting of Christ in a personal and intimate way. This can't be achieved in a group, a movement, or by force of any reigning or governing bodies. It's a chosen relationship.

I am sorry to say that I have known woefully few self-described Christians who appeared to be attempting to live according to Jesus's example. In fact, I can count them on one hand.

But I've known too many self-described Christians like the Duggars, who reek of hypocrisy and self-righteousness, to count.

I am in shock. When I first read this I thought 'oh heck more Dugger bashing'.

Now I am asking 'how could he'?

I have always been a huge Dugger fan and defender. It was a program I could watch with my grandchildren. I remember saving the no kiss til marriage ceremony episode so my granddaughters would know it's ok to say no and be pure.

Now I think I was looking at something that wasn't there. Truth, honesty, respect and perfection.

How very sad for everybody that ever loved him. What kind of monster is Josh Dugger?

Poor Anna and those darling little children she is raising so lovingly. I used to love seeing them on the show. They are smart and so very not shy of the camera.

What will happen to all of them?

Let us not forget the sisters he raped and one of their little friends.
