Ms. Weddle was in the company of the pictured female (possibly identified as Markeita “Keke” Smith). She may be in the company of Larry Brown, Jr.

The photo of Kaniya and the female was shared in the video posted above.
In the video, it was shared in the interview that Kaniya was at a bar with a few friends and that photo is the last one she took before leaving out (10:48pm).
Kaniya was then thought to be leaving that group of friends in order to meet up with other friends at a different bar.

IMO, if Kaniya disappeared by choice, she would have let someone know by now. I’m worried for her.

Likely. That guy is the person that was the co-defendant in the drug case Kaniya was a part of that @GraceG mentioned in her comment a few comments back. That case and charges were dismissed (Noelle Prossed) for both of them.

The Arkansas State Police is investigating the death of a woman whose body was recovered from the Saint Francis River at the Huxtable Pumping Station located off Arkansas Highway 121.

Special agents of the state police criminal investigation division are leading the investigation after being notified by Lee County authorities late yesterday (Thursday, April 22nd). Sheriff’s deputies reported to the agents the body was recovered from a vehicle discovered floating in the river near a boat dock.

The state police is awaiting confirmation from the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory as to the identity of the woman.

This area is located in Lee County (in Marianna area I believe).
Kaniya was last seen in Pulaski County (Little Rock/Jacksonville area).
Also, the body was found in the St Francis River.
The Arkansas River runs through Little Rock.

SCAM ALERT: It appears someone set up a certain page for people to donate to Kaniya’s funeral expenses; her family has reported this to LE as a scam!

Also, still haven’t come across confirmation on the identity of the body found in the St Francis River.
However, IMO, I feel it won’t be long before it is shared.
The woman’s body was found in a vehicle floating in the river. I assume LE most likely has an idea based on the make/model of vehicle and so forth...again IMO.
Prayers for Kaniya’s family at this time.

According to ASP, officials are awaiting information from the Arkansas State Crime Lab on the woman’s identity.

According to some of the news reports her phone last pinged in a wooded area off West Maddox Road Jacksonville. According to good old Google maps that’s 113 miles away from where she was found. Strange.

The wooded area itself is also 30 miles from where she was last seen.

The night of April 14th, Kaniya was spotted heading out of Bar Louie on Cantrell to meet friends at another bar, but she never made it.

Four days later, the answer came 100 miles away. A body was found by Sheriff’s Deputies in Lee County. Family members say that was Kaniya.

The make and model of the vehicle has not yet been released, but Kaniya was last seen driving her 2019 black Jeep Cherokee Latitude.

Police have yet to confirm her death.

Arkansas State Police are leading the investigation. A spokesperson says agents are following leads but have no further updates at this time.

No, it’s definitely not over. I wonder if she might’ve been mixed up with some unsavoury people. There’s more than a hint of that in some social media comments, including some frustration that it might have slowed up the reaction from LE when she went missing. Poor girl.

The official suggests foul play but no confirmation from LE about that at the moment.
