Faulkner County woman hopes for answers 7 years after mother’s disappearance

Kelly’s remains were found on 12/31/25 and have been recently identified.

January 20, 2026

On December 31, 2025, a hunter who had been tracking game near White Oak Road found what looked to be human remains near a water runoff channel.

On January 16, the remains were positively identified as being a 99.98% match with Kelly Evans.

Details of Disappearance​

Evans disappeared from Enola, Arkansas on October 14, 2017. On New Years' Eve 2026, a hunter found her remains near White Oak Road. They were identified in January. Evans's death is under investigation.
