Jonesboro police said in a news release they think the victims, 57-year-old Kenny Coleman 52-year-old Charles Jones, were shot to death...

Authorities arrived at a house in the 200 block of North Miller Street shortly before 9 p.m. after a relative of one of the victims discovered the two bodies and contacted police, said Jonesboro Police Department spokesman Paul Holmes.

Two lives taken and still no arrests in the case.

Crimestoppers is offering top dollar for the tip that can solve a double-murder.

Jonesboro police say Kenny Coleman and Charles Jones were found dead in the home on Miller Street in Jonesboro in late December.

The two men were acquaintances but nothing else has been released.

An arrest was made earlier this year. However, he was released a month later and I can't find anything about him being charged again or anyone else.

Suspect arrested in Miller Street murder case

According to Paul Holmes, public information specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department, officers arrested Preston Recardo Burt, who was given a $1,000,000 bond in a Friday court appearance.

Jonesboro murder suspect released from jail

DeProw says, that according to Arkansas Criminal Procedure they must file formal charges within 60 days of an arrest or a suspect must be released. Even though 60 days has not passed since Burt’s arrest, He was released earlier this month.

This does not mean Burt has been removed as a suspect in the case. DeProw adds that this is still an active and open investigation.
