AR AR - Morgan Nick, 6, Alma, 9 Jun 1995

Andrew Lincks in 2012 and 2023 along with Morgan Abductor Sketch from 1995 he would’ve been 26 when Morgan was abducted

Thats interesting .. the mean age of the offender in the majority Child abduction murders is usually around 27 years of age at the time of incident.

IMO he must have started much earlier. Also with other dysfunctional behaviours at younger age (eg drugs, alcohol)
Usually, especially at that age, however 71 is still much older than the typical age range in Child abductions ,

Ive posted the common factors in Child abduction (murder) cases on here several times

In general the offender in these types of cases barring evidence to suggest a serial offender is usually around 27 at the time of the abduction, they are usually in the area for legitimate reasons, which is usually where they live or work (or traverse regularly) .

For years, NCMEC has worked closely with law enforcement to keep Morgan Nick's case in the public eye. John Bischoff from our Missing Children Division highlights our continued efforts to support the investigation and seek answers.

ALMA, Ark. —
New forensic technology has provided a significant development in the decades-old case of Morgan Nick. Othram labs, a forensic laboratory based near Houston, Texas, used advanced DNA analysis to examine a hair sample found in a vehicle formerly owned by Billy Jack Lincks, a suspect in the case.

On Tuesday, police confirmed that the hair, vacuumed from the vehicle, matches the DNA of Morgan Nick or someone closely related to her. Morgan Nick was abducted in 1995 at the age of six from a ballpark in Alma, Arkansas, and her case has remained unsolved for nearly 30 years.

Othram Labs used a method called “forensic-grade genome sequencing” to analyze the rootless hair. This technique allows scientists to extract and sequence DNA markers, even from samples that are too degraded or small for traditional DNA testing.

One thing that I bugs me is how the screenshot from the camcorder by the officer's Mom who filmed Morgan last has a different red truck than the one that is shown being searched on Still Missing Morgan. This was brought up right after the documentary was released and I've still seen no clarification.

Lincks age is really bothering me. I know the witnesses were children and it was dark, but surely the parking lot had some lighting or nobody would've let their kids play there, and I think kids would be able to differentiate between a youngish guy and a pensioner. One of the witnesses stated that Lincks was not the man she saw, I tend to believe her.

I just showed my kids, aged 11 and 9, the photo of Lincks and asked them to estimate his age, the oldest said around 60 and then the younger one decided 57 after he heard his brother say 60. My point being, they quickly surmised he was older, and definitely wouldn't have guessed a whole generation lower.

I don't doubt the DNA evidence, but I would want to be 100% certain that nobody else had access to Lincks truck that night.

As I said before, I believe Lincks' son was there that night. Whether or not Lincks was involved, he was still a nasty piece of work. Lincks' son is on the Sex Offenders' Registry and resembles the suspect sketch.

I also agree, the age description of the man witnessed in the parking with her bothers me as well.
Concerning Lincks, I believe he did not start his pedo activities at that older age, he must have started much earlier. I wonder if LE is looking into other unsolved cases or other abduction attempts.

Years ago, lab technicians found blonde hair inside a pickup truck that had belonged to Billy Jack Lincks.

A lab in Texas tested the hair and compared it to DNA submitted by Colleen Nick, Morgan's mother. They found that the hair belonged to either Colleen, one of her siblings, or one of her children.
…..meaning it belonged to Morgan.

How sad poor Morgan and Her Family! Xxxx

News article from kArk, interesting information about how @othram assisted in solving Morgan's disappearance and how solving this case gives hope to other families. Article describes the evolution of DNA analysis and what Othram does that's so revolutionary.

Just one snip, but worth a full --

"Othram Labs uses a process they call Forensic Grade Genome Sequencing. The process works to connect family members’ DNA to each other and can pull half a million data points from a piece of evidence."

I could always be wrong but kidnapping children from a densely populated place seems like something mostly repeat offenders do.. it doesn't seem like a "first offense"... I would speculate that the perpetrator had kidnapped children before although he didn't necessarily hold them for very long before releasing them... I'm not sure how they haven't caught this guy yet... given the fact that the same person who kidnapped Morgan was the same man who tried to seduce the 4 year old and maybe the same man who tried to seduce the 9 year old into the bathroom... he doesn't seem to be careful with his planning... not only is he trying to commit a bold crime but he's doing it in a high risk environment.. that's mind boggling to me...
the two sketches of the suspect in that link also seem quite different to me...
it's scary to think how quickly children can disappear... the mother was keeping a very close eye on her and that wasn't enough..
it just takes a moment when no one is watching...
forgive us little baby for not looking out for you As you deserve, as a society we owe you our lives... that miserable man should have been in prison for life or sentenced to death...
whatever the case
rest in peace
