On September 7, investigators found human remains on a property close to Weser's home. Since then, a DNA analysis was able to confirm that the remains belonged to both Rhodes and DeSort.

Thank God they were found so the families don’t have to go through the torment of wondering for years what happened. I think it was pretty obvious what happened. Did this guy think no one would look his way if they disappeared? The neighbors house was probably burned to get rid of evidence. This is all MOO and speculation of course.
