An ASP agent has took the stand. He says Lewellyn admitted to seeing Sutherland walking on CR 41. He then turned around and abducted her. He took her to farmland and sexually assaulted her then buried her body.

Only family and media were allowed in the court room. Family took up three full rows with her mother sitting on the first. You can hear small sniffs coming from their area as they are clearly emotional.

This is what I was wondering about - did he drive past her then turn around ? looks like it and he must have hit her on the head. Wonder if he had help burying her body?

There’s about two dozen people (family of #sydneysutherland) sitting on plaintiffs side of courtroom. Only two people are sitting on the defense side of the courtroom.

Judge Erwin also only let 5 media individuals in the courtroom.

Before adjourning he said “everyone has a job to do” asking media to respect his no video or audio recordings. Also adding that he, too, has a job to do.

Court hearing is over.

Lewellyn was then escorted out of the courtroom. Everyone including family was asked to remain seated. He also asked law enforcement to confirmed when he was gone before everyone was dismissed.
