Are there other victims?

And wasn't that one of the things the CC Building Inspectors cited as being a reason to condemn the place?

Yeah, we've tried to explain away the obvious, but it just doesn't make sense. The whole case is that way!

I'm dizzy from all the reading I've done today! So, why the need for such a well-thought out and executed plan to save Shoemake? What did someone benefit from him owing that much of a "favor". Maybe that's why nothing ever came of the fires in Garrido's yard? Or are the years off?

We need a data program that we can add all these dates and names to and be able to cross-check all the data we've gathered.

Oh, I thought I said more...musta' just been thinking it. Sorry :blushing: nevermind.

If you're smelling smoke, it's because you made me think!!:waitasec: The fires in the backyard. I knew there was something else strange about that. The wiring I am sure was not done by an electrician and probably did not look up to code, from the reports by neighbors. How come the firemen didn't report the violation, or cite him themselves? I've seen it done to people who bought homes with additions that were not professionally done.

Yeah, that place was a veritable nightmare to any fireman and not just that code violation! I think I said this before, but to me the fire dept had a duty to inspect that property once they had been there if for no other reason than the hazard it presented to the neighbors.

Yeah, I'm sure the homemade wiring was just as shabby in the early and mid-2000s when the firemen were there. If it's getting cited now, it should have been then, too.

Not to mention that according to the neighbors the fires they reported were in the secret backyard, so if the firemen are there to put them out...how did they not see all the tents and other signs that people, children even, were living back there? The officer who responded to the 2006 911 call said tents would be a code violation. Why wasn't Garrido cited by the firemen for those, at least?

given how long the corruption thread is getting..........did they invetigate the backayrd fire or just ask garrido if it was out?

And I think all told there were fires three times, correct??

It sounded like the fires were outdoors, so they wouldn't have seen the wiring inside.

Why bother to post and gunk up threads just to say there is nothing new

A few of the CC Building Inspectors pictures show wiring going into the sheds, like these.

Maybe you don't see anything we've uncovered as new, but we do! Several of us have spent an enormous amount of time uncovering details. It's irritating and insulting when someone comes on and acts like they're wasting their time by even reading our posts!

Speaking of other victims, where on this forum (in its entirety) are they discussing the "Hispanic Maddie", ie, the bizarre new pix of what Madeleine McCann would SUPPOSEDLY look like after living in a warm climate for a couple of years. This truly the most bizarre progression I have ever seen. Not that I think Garrido had ANYTHING to do with it . . OBVIOUSLY!!!

Truly, any time spent discussing if there are other Garrido victims is time worth spent. In rehashing over things and discussing them over and over, something can sometimes break through. Members are doing good work here.

Previously (recently, like yesterday), we were talking about the fires in the BACK YARD and stating that firemen could obviously see the wiring when they put out the back yard fires. This wiring was cited as one of the reasons the house got condemned.
