GUILTY Arizona girl, 2, left in car by father on 109-degree day and is found dead #2 (guilty plea, father found dead 5 November 2025 before sentencing)

I applaud the sentence but now I am really worried that he will do a runner into Mexico. I am getting really tired of this idiot being cut breaks constantly

Is he wearing an ankle monitor?

I think he should definitely have been required to wear a monitoring device.

I think he is a flight risk. I also suspect his wife would support him in Mexico or somewhere like that, like in Cabo San Lucas or some other tourist-friendly town. Family starts making visits to Mexico or such.

Wait, it was child p..n he was watching??
No.. from what I heard wasnt it g@y prøn??

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

On a more serious note... how many years is this "dad" guaranteed to be locked up? Negligence has a new definition now. Jfc.

Max 30.... what is the guaranteed minimum??? Cuz I like others think his bout with Affluenza will provide fora softball, no, cottonball sentence!

I applaud Pima County. It's really a disgrace that the other parents in Arizona will not get the same fate. Specifically the influencer mother and her husband in Gilbert, AZ who decided not to fence in their pool because it was an eyesore. The dad saw the little boy playing by the un-fenced pool unattended but his negligence to supervise his toddler son resulted in drowning. OR... the two negligent parents who let their daughter LITERALLY boil from the inside out on their boat in Lake Havasu in 120 plus degrees while they enjoyed themselves frolicking in the water. The fact that these four "parents" have never been charged is disgusting. ALL JMO

Wow only just seen the news. Wonder what made him grow a pair and plead guilty?

Why exactly has he got another 2 weeks free? Off for another wee vacation?

Will his wee cheerleader be at his sentencing I wonder.

*edited to take out the word "murderers"
It really only seems like he got the “book thrown at him” due to a documented history of purposely leaving the kids in the hot car, as well as his oldest coming forward with the abuse she faced. With how soft they’ve been on him until now, I don’t think he would’ve faced much prison time if any if Parker’s death actually was a tragic accident and the first time he did something like that. From what I’ve seen in many cases, something in the buttermilk is not clean in Arizona.

Is there any chance ES can be charged for contributing to her daughter's death? As evidenced by their text exchanges, ES knowingly let her husband drive intoxicated, leave the kids in the car, and drive at excessive speeds. Just wondering if when this is all said and done and the husband is formally sentenced, is it possible any charges can be brought against ES? ALL JMO

If she received felony charges and was convicted, she would likely lose her Medical License in Arizona. This could impact her ability to get licensed in any other state, too.

This would make her unemployable in most any healthcare setting. This could be interpreted as severely reducing her ability to provide for the remaining two children.

I doubt the prosecution team would be laying those kind of charges.

I am thinking someone could make a complaint to censure her license.

That is probably as far as it would go. I don't see them taking away her license because her spouse is a lazy drunk who killed their kid. Relationships are complicated.

He is going away. That is sufficient.

There are plenty of other ways she can support her children, even in a Healthcare setting, without endangering people's very lives by having them unconscious under anesthesia. Many people who have lost their licenses by proving to be unfit have done so. She has shown such a high degree of careless regard for human life that she is unfit for that.

Plebotomist might be more fitting. 🥸

They would not take her license because her chosen spouse is a lazy drunk who killed their kid. They would take her license because she has shown such a high degree of careless disregard for human life by knowingly and willingly ALLOWING her spouse to kill their child when there clearly was a high degree of probability that would happen and proof that she knew it over an extended period of time.

His life endangering conduct is required to be reported to cps. Any neighbor, bystander in parking lots, gas stations, retail stores, primary care providers for the children, teachers. parents of friends, ANYONE the children told what their father was doing to them, was REQUIRED, not suggested, to report this life endangering abuse.

Doctor wife well knew this. There is a documented history of her knowledge. That makes her complicit. That also shows careless disregard for human life in the extreme.

She should never have the lives of humans in her hands in medical practice again. She can find another area within the medical field wherein she does not.

I also think he is going to run. That’s why he pled . I will be interesting .

It makes absolutely no sense he is still out. He pled guilty to second degree murder, you should not go home after that.

He didn't just go home, he went home to the home he shares with two other minors he had a history of abusing the exact way that he killed their sister, and a permissive spouse who knew exactly what was happening. The court is playing roulette with those kids' lives.

I doubt she is planning to cut ties with him—their Marana house was “sold” to an LLC they set up with Christopher Scholtes as the contact person, and they just bought a big expensive house elsewhere in AZ which is also owned by the LLC with Chris as the contact person (see my post #693 on this thread; link below).

I am aghast that he’s allowed to remain out of custody for another 2 full weeks. Wonder how closely he plans to adhere to any restrictions related to him being left alone around his remaining children (IIRC that was a stipulation of his bond after he was first arrested/charged). Also wouldn’t be surprised at all if he mysteriously vanishes before November 5th (is he wearing an ankle monitor, I wonder? In the video above, he is wearing what I would describe as tapered/“skinny” pants, and when I paused it and zoomed in on his ankles in the reflection of the doors, I saw no obvious signs he had an ankle monitor on), or if he takes the coward’s way

Gotta love the "Daily Mail". Telling it like it is.

I love me some DM! Contrary to popular belief, but also taken with a grain of salt 😉

Maybe ES is finally done with him. Kids said ‘Daddy made a big mistake on accident’. Perhaps ES finally woke up and realized it was no accident, and the big mistake was by her for standing by him, and for marrying the loser in the first place.
