GUILTY Arizona girl, 2, left in car by father on 109-degree day and is found dead #2 (guilty plea, father found dead 5 November 2025 before sentencing)

The DM is scraping every possible penny out of this tragedy.

I was so worried Christopher was going to take out his family instead of heading to prison. I wonder how much risk they were in when he used the garage to unalive himself. The garage is attached to the house. Such a selfish act committed by a selfish man-child. Those poor little girls.

Shades of Chris Watts with his hands on his head like that.

I noticed that too. Watts is another of those uncomfortable in their own skin guys. Instead of being so overt about it like CS, Wattts is a stay in the shadow guy petrified to convey any authentic feelings or opinions. That cop cam where he had both hands on his head...then lowering one hand there by the TV at Nate's house, while leaving the other hand on top his head. Who does that. But then who kills babies to stuff them in oil tanks, or leaves them to roast to death in a car.

Yeah, that was sure interesting when CW did that. It was one of the oddest things I've seen.

I don't know why they repeated at least twice that Chris left Parker alone in the car in 90 degree F heat.

That would probably also have been deadly, but it's way understating the temps that day. It was reported to be 109 degrees F OUTSIDE the day she died, and the car she was left in was parked in full sun in the hottest part of the day. Inside the car would have been MUCH hotter even than the scorching 109 that it was outside.

So it was the red convertible that he died in?

If so, there's yet another way that shows Christopher always ever only thought of himself and never had any consideration for anyone else at all.

Because remember what happened with his red convertible? That car was his prized toy (you could even say it was his baby, but that would sound offensive given the details of his case), and when they were trying to raise funds for his legal expenses, he was encouraged to sell that car to help the cause. It was reported that he was reluctant to sell it, but eventually agreed. Then Chris's best friend Ryan stepped in and bought the car, but then turned around and gave it right back to Chris, with Chris's name on the title and everything, so Chris keeps the money AND the car, thanks to his best friend's selfless generosity.

Imagine now how Ryan must have felt when he heard that Chris chose this car to die in.

Chris, never a thought for anyone but himself.

Wonder why she dismissed it? Chris is dead, but Erika is still alive, and the suit was against them both, right? The last I read was that she planned to continue the suit against Erika only now.

But I guess she changed her mind. Is it possible there was a settlement offer, or would that news have been published as well, if there was?
My guess is that it would have been costly to pursue, needing an attorney, etc. Anything she might gain monetarily could have impacted her young siblings and been detrimental to her relationship with them. If it was thought that homeowners' insurance would cover it, well that seemed unlikely.

Again, I am just guessing. Personally, I didn't like the law suit.

What’s up with all the stuff laying around the car? Maybe ES finally threw him out of the house the night before, and tossed his belongings on the lawn, too.
I think those look like inflatable (but not inflated) lawn decorations.

I wonder if we would ever hear from Ms ES

It seemed thrown together, encompassed too many ill-defined charges that had already been dismissed by CPS. Just a very amaturish document. They could have traced the SSI payments (IMO) in a more targeted manner without that type of filing. Maybe someone did, after filing the suit and realized there was no there there. I don't think the daughter had much to do with initiating that document, I'll leave it there.

Spot on! The lawsuit was filed by the guardian, and it is why I disliked it. It felt exploitative. JMO

Thank you @dalsglen.

I’ve seen that headline tease on the Daily Mail site, but didn’t want to pay for the exclusive subscription access.

This would be a sort of poetic justice if he died in his car. Of course though, he chose that death and Parker did not.

JMO
But he could have killed everyone in the house!

I hope that Christopher's daughter can find some peace in her life. She has endured so much loss.

JMO, IMO, and all other disclaimers.

Me too. What I meant to say is that maybe her many faceted law suit was compiled by someone else who was angry but not well informed. When I read it, sorry, I couldn't see an attorney filing something so vague. It's probably as the guardian said.....the hope was for a quick settlement. Also, if an attorney had been part of the action, the plaintiffs wouldn't have been left to arrange the serving, imo.

No those are inflatable Halloween decorations. Usually on a timer so they inflate in the evening then lay flat during the day.
