They probably didn’t read the available information right in front of them and thought 90* sounded close enough.I don't know why they repeated at least twice that Chris left Parker alone in the car in 90 degree F heat.
That would probably also have been deadly, but it's way understating the temps that day. It was reported to be 109 degrees F OUTSIDE the day she died, and the car she was left in was parked in full sun in the hottest part of the day. Inside the car would have been MUCH hotter even than the scorching 109 that it was outside.
