I don't know why they repeated at least twice that Chris left Parker alone in the car in 90 degree F heat.

That would probably also have been deadly, but it's way understating the temps that day. It was reported to be 109 degrees F OUTSIDE the day she died, and the car she was left in was parked in full sun in the hottest part of the day. Inside the car would have been MUCH hotter even than the scorching 109 that it was outside.

They probably didn’t read the available information right in front of them and thought 90* sounded close enough.

I think that was his hope.

When he no-showed I knew he was gone, the feeling I had was so strong it literally made me sick. I think he wanted that too but couldn’t physically act on it. This way if they all died it would look like an accident, in his sick mind. He had so many ways to do this that couldn’t possibly hurt anyone else and what does he choose? The method that could’ve harmed his whole family.

Me too. What I meant to say is that maybe her many faceted law suit was compiled by someone else who was angry but not well informed. When I read it, sorry, I couldn't see an attorney filing something so vague. It's probably as the guardian said.....the hope was for a quick settlement. Also, if an attorney had been part of the action, the plaintiffs wouldn't have been left to arrange the serving, imo.

They had a process server according to one of the articles posted back a few days ago, they had attempted to serve them twice at home and they wouldn’t answer the door. I’ll see if I can find it again .

It also, imo, sounds like the least ‘painful’ method….? I’d lean towards that being why he chose it. Unless we hear that he left the door between the house and the garage open?

That's a possibility, but I really think the reason he didn't do a deliberate, violent family annihilation is because he wasn't interested enough in them to even think about doing anything like that.

I was so worried Christopher was going to take out his family instead of heading to prison. I wonder how much risk they were in when he used the garage to unalive himself. The garage is attached to the house. Such a selfish act committed by a selfish man-child. Those poor little girls.

This being said, there is zero evidence that the female neighbor mentioned in the article was involved in Parker’s death, so the newspaper has no right to post about her alleged relationship with CS. She is married, she has two children and I fail to see how it helps anyone. Her own choice is not great, if she were single i could not have cared either way, but she has children. They should have been thought about.

That's ok, I meant an attorney would have handled it. ES could have been served at work, etc. I got the idea they had paid one of those Indy process servers. But the public griping gave away all secrecy or suprise. In all the cases I've read about here, I don't recall a plaintiff publicly griping about process serving. Or maybe there is an atty's name somewhere on the document, I don't know what the normal procedure is. Not that I'm against fill in the blanks internet forms, I've used them for less complex legal purposes, POA, etc.

I never heard that, but I may have missed it.

Shouldn't there have also been a nanny in the house as well? Maybe they had a nanny who didn't live with them. Or was the grandma staying there?

I believe I understand the implication of privilege, perhaps.

However, do we know yet the intent? This was not being oblivious and forgetful, but intentional, it seems?

Of course NEVER is leaving a baby in a hot car acceptable in any way, but I have a fraction more sympathy for someone who left a child because they have to work as opposed to purposefully leaving your baby so you can play video games and not be bothered.

But only a fraction of a fraction of a fraction.

Obviously leaving a baby in a car is a NEVER but I feel like I understand the pressure a little more if she had to work, but had no one to watch the baby. Although I would tell my boss about it and maybe the boss would let her bring the baby to work somehow, or help her find childcare.

JMO and not really making excuses, just wondering.
