Seriously. That eldest daughter is in danger. MOO. She is planning on testifying against the murderer of her little sister, and is going on vacation with him to Hawaii.

It is mind boggling.
I'm going to have to go back and reread. I missed where his eldest estranged daughter is going with on the family vacation? Last I heard she had nothing to do with him and lived in another household.

ETA just reread. Parker's two older sisters are going on the trip but her oldest half sibling (perp's oldest daughter from previous marriage) is not. whew, that freaked me out!

How is that not considered witness tampering?! Best case scenario, he uses his time away with her to beg/bribe/convince her against testifying/lying.

Oh, I forgot about his other daughter. I was assuming it was Parker's older sibling, who was present in the home, the day of the murder.

I don't understand the judge allowing a person charged with premeditated murder, to go to Hawaii on vacation.

I suspect Parker's two older sisters who were part of the household may be called to testify but due to their age prosecutors may use their forensic interviews rather than live testimony. Not sure how they will work out introducing the important info the girls had to share with the interviewer. But yes, his oldest daughter plans to testify for sure about her own experiences which should help establish this leaving children unattended in his car thing is a looooong standing practice of this father.

IMO it feels as if the judge doesn't take the case seriously, if this is considered appropriate.

She should avoid any hikes to the top of a volcano or other steep edges.

A 'family' holiday? How tasteless.
FGS when is the court going to take this case seriously? Message of the day is that Parker’s death means nothing.

Remember Marci Kitchen? California mother who ran over and killed her daughter and her daughter’s friend while driving drunk. Hid the car and tried to get her son to lie for her. The case took forever and Marci was also given permission to travel. Sickening.

I’m starting to feel like Chris is going to get away with his crime, not due to lack of evidence but rather due to the judge being swayed by his wife’s MD moniker and her undivided protection of a terrible husband. JMO

I guess fathers who steal beer and lock their kids in hot cars are valued more in Tucson than their victims. And shame on his wife - I wouldn’t let her give me or anyone in my family an anesthetic for all the money in the world. MOO

I hope she enjoys their Hawaiian vacation with the remaining two kids while he stays inside with a 12 pack of his favorite beverages and the pron channels on TV.

Reminds me of the gal who went partying with her mother, drinking down margaritas. While the police were searching the dump for her child she threw away.

Who was that? I forgot her name. She is doing 30 years in prison now.

What a joke! From your link:

Judge Kimberly Ortiz approved the request, over the strenuous objections of prosecutors, under the proviso he stayed in contact with pretrial services while outside Arizona.

'The defendant shall further have no unsupervised contact with children,' the order added.

So the wife is supervising Chris’ time with the surviving girls. How convenient. I’m not convinced he’ll never have time alone with them. Hopefully the doctor is wise enough to prevent Chris from driving the girls anywhere! JMO of course.

That oldest daughter is probably an adult by now.

She does not live with them or see him, she was removed by the state, see upthread.

I would not think that the estranged eldest daughter would be going to Hawaii with them.
