There is another woman who says she had problems with TA. I'm not sure if she took the stand for the defense (as I tuned into the trial late) or if this info is via media news. I believe she testified though. This is an example of not having organized facts versus fiction.

The jury will not be able to use the stalkerish behavior unless there is proof of it presented during the trial.

The stalking behavior, some already alluded to in testimony, will be filled in on cross of ALV. I betcha.

Why don't we know though? That's my point, that the jury needs to be able to make sense of all the evidence. How did she scam him? Why can't anybody find out? Why did he let her back into his house (the jury will wonder why he did). It can't be maybe this or maybe that or we think this or that.

Yes, one really does feel the need to pin these things down. Too bad Travis didn't keep a journal, and we could really grasp the inside dynamics (and the jury as well) and know exactly what was occurring when, and why, and what he was thinking......

My feeling is that some of it simply can't be pinned down, as it is taken from texts and emails and leaves out actual events and conversations.....

And of course there is no point in asking the only other person besides Travis who knows.....:furious:

I don't know if he was a virgin, but he was, imo, quite sexually inexperienced. He has an ex-girlfriend testify that they'd never had sex and never asked or pressured her for it. He told Jodi in their recording that he had never masturbated until he met her.

I find this so difficult to believe - he was almost 30 years old. That means, he'd never ever ejaculated before JA. It's too hard to believe imo. Is that even healthy or possible? What would be his point of saying that to JA on tape? Was he trying to cover his own reputation because he thought she was going to out him for participating in sex acts? They had already known each other for over a year by then and he's confessing that to her in May of 2008? Makes no sense. What had he done about sexual tension in his past especially if he had no previous lovers.

Back in the olden days, even before my time, they used to say "everything but the poke" before marriage.

Off topic from psychology, but do you recall if people testified to the stalking or is that all stuff we've heard on HLN? I know there aren't any police reports (but that TA did call police once after his tires were slashed). Do they know for instance if JA was nearby his house that day? Did anybody bother to check her whereabouts on that date?

Men do not need to masturbate to ejaculate. I do not know why he'd lie about such a thing. It's possible he was, but, again, it's just speculation. He's one of very very few men in the world who had no on his computer. There is something there. He was a Mormon from a very young age and seemed to TRY to stick to the code. We don't know the full story with that but we don't need to.

There's a very good possibility that Travis was a virgin when he met Jodi.

Travis did have some kind of journals.

Some, theoretically were stolen by Jodi. When?????

And some are held by Sky Hughes, I believe.

I am so wondering what the outing of Jodi is about.

Well, that's the frustrating part. The defense has been allowed to cherry pick Travis' words over and over again without allowing explanation for Jodi's part in the conversation. They can't find any credible people to disparage Travis' character so they have to grasp at straws. We may never know what he was talking about. But I think it's logical he didn't just snap and send this to her. She did something to him.

The slashing of tires is hearsay.

I know I am belaboring the point, but people say that, but really, look at your tires and ask yourself how you would slash them.

Maybe people can find one by the side of the road where losers throw them and see if you can make a dent in the rubber.

I believe tires can be slashed just as much as the can be punctured and flattened. Probably hard to slash one, but not nearly impossible. Just one kick stab of the knife and they're slashed.

In any case, someone messed with all four of Travis' tires. Twice. His girlfriend's too.

If he felt threatened by being outted by JA, he could have wiped his computer clean. I wonder how deep the forensics went when checking his technology. Remember JA claims he had a deeper darker leaning. She claims everything changed after she witnessed/discovered that. On the outside chance she's telling the truth, he may have removed everything and anything relative to that subject from his personal records. I believe she said she witnessed that in December 2007. Can that be right? I wonder if he still owned the same computer, if any deletions were made, etc. These are the things the defense should have dug into if they knew she was going to made these kinds of claims during the trial.
How can her claims not be supported by any forensics? I remember she slipped in some comment about T's nephew or something. Of course, they'd never put him or his mother on the stand - but for her to even say that - wow!

p.s. Are you certain about the ejaculation thing? If that's true, I learned something new today.

That's not a good test as that rubber is not under pressure.
(Like stabbing deflated balloon w/ needle vs inflated balloon).

Find the car of someone you don't like and STAB (single, fast, forceful motion) a tire of their car with a knife (a sharp paring knife should do). Voila! Slashed tire!
