You can't hide behind a Lawyer, justice is blind so there is no point.

He really is the most unlikely of suspects? Could he really? I mean come on, to kill someone and hold out for a month, when your best skill is selling real estate. Accident and cover up maybe, but my guess is even the hardened criminal crack within a couple of weeks if pursued by homicide detective. Stay tuned, there is more to come here.

BBM: His best skill was selling real estate??? Come on! He stuffed that up well and truly.

And stop poking your tongue out at me. It's rude. :floorlaugh:

Hey Limaes, I don't think there would have to have been a significant amount of blood in the car. It may only have been a few drops. It may also have been sponged and not visible to the naked eye. Remember, the car was impounded for forensic testing and they would have gone over it with a fine tooth comb.

I agree with you about urine. Apparently it is quite common for a deceased person to expel urine shortly after death. This may also have been found in the car and the house.

MOO.

No I think it would be traces of blood. Yes it would have been found in forensics. (not likely it was left with a heap of blood visible to the naked eye) But you are also right about other body fluids leaking after death also.

Big day..:bedtime:

I hope that rumour doesn't turn out to be true. There must have been a significant amount of blood found in the car if it is true they are searching for blood at the house. They also could be testing for urine that was a result of post mortem release. That could confirm that she passed away at the house. jmo

OH??? Thats an interesting thought.....:waitasec:

He is the most likely suspect! He held out for two month, hes crap at selling real estate, no accident, it looks like he murdered and dumped the mother of his children in the bush, Stay tuned hes going to get 25 years...

"We are extremely grateful for the support of the community, the people of Brookfield, the SES and the police who have gone beyond the call of duty to find answers and help restore peace to our lives.

"We love Allison and will always miss her dearly.

"We have a long road ahead of us coming to terms with this horrific crime. We would ask everyone to respect our privacy during this very difficult time. The family will be making no further comments on the matter at this stage."

I'm not totally sure, but I think this statement from the Dickies was one they made early in the piece, not as a result of todays news.

I have many guns here at the house and my husband and I shoot for sport....(We are ex miliatry and livin in the usa-of course I would) no sonic boom usually except maybe when you are shooting great distances in the mountains and it echoes....although some old wwII guns made a hell of a lot of noise....I have used a silencer and yes they do work well-but you still hear some noise....neighbours being so far away would not have heard a thing. The dog would have! now, them m16 rifles used in vietnam were fairly quite (they were made of plastic and supposed to be disposable)...so too the styre...Now getting back to the boom, a double barrell shot gun makes a loud boom noise....but I doubt the idiot would have needed to use one of them...

Now...NBC obviously had a licence for his rifles...I wonder if GBC had a licence too? Police have listings of those registered with guns in Australia so this alone would have given the cops a reason to quickly respond to the call I think

maybe GBC knocked off his fathers pistol without he knowing then told him later....??? therefore, that would make NBC an accomplish after the fact???

ooooohhhh I wish they would give us more info....when do you think the court case will start?

Do you think a silencer sound could be described as thump type noise??

I read a rumour some time back one of the neighbours heard a loud thump sound that night.

I pray the police and child protective services in Queensland knows about the Josh Powell case. On a SUPERVISED visit he locked the door in front of the social worker and went in the house and blew it up, with him and the two little boys inside!

The USA learned a lesson via nightmare on that day. May the world remember for the sake of children.

yes....Kimster. You are right....Rest assured not too many odd crazy stuff occurs in Australia so the teachings to our social workers on historical worst case scenario's are screened from other countries events....and unfortunately most information seems to be coming from usa.....

I doubt he will be granted bail....whilst his lawyer may be able to prove his past high standing in the community they will come short of proving other mandotory points to grant bail....not to mention the money required to submit bail proceedings...I suggest its just the lawyers gobbing off so they can look good to the eyes of the world should some other weirdo need them.... bit of advertising; some may say...

I agree. It seems strange if you'd murder someone for their life insurance if there was a clause like that but even if there wasn't wouldn't you need death to be established to make the claim? I don't think the murderer intended for her body to be found so that seems contradictory to that and it could be years to never to get that money. Also to do that to your wife, to your kids, for money... Would he really do that?

Interesting that blood was found. So perhaps death wasn't strangulation as rumoured or if it was she'd sustained other injuries from the sounds of it.
As there is still speculation around the death, the insurance company would not be allowed to release any funds at this stage....something about a federal law.....insurance companies need an OK letter from the Govt to release funds...but, the recipient can apply to the insurance company for some funds due to certain circumstances...and this can be easily granted....but comes out of the big payout once it is released.

Being a bricklayer myself, we come second only to taxi drivers on our legal expertise, i don't think he will get bail because.

1. The prosecuters may argue further arrests in this case are expected.
2. It isnt a spur of the moment crime, elements may of been planned.
3. He is now a flight risk because of his familys international friends and family.(we dont want another lord lucan).
4. He's a complete assho**

For a bricklayer, you'd make a good copper.

Mr Baden-Clay was taken to the Indooroopilly Police Station for questioning yesterday afternoon and charged with murder.

The 41-year-old is not believed to have given a formal interview yesterday, but consented to a forensic procedure for a sample of his DNA. He is expected to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

There is also a statement from Allison's family along with some other interesting info

I wonder if the police had been trying to get DNA evidence before and GBC was using his lawyers to get out of it...

and I wonder if this dna was what proved to be his demise and led to his subsequent arrest????

Well seeing him in handcuffs makes the reality of his arrest sink in.

Unfortunately the wheels of justice can turn veryyy slowly in most countries.

I betting no more than 6 mths before court case commences....

How long after the arrest of the sing family murder did the accused boyfriends court case commence?

That's a good point but wouldn't the police have been able to grab his DNA from the house or do you have to give permission for your DNA to be taken?

IMO he seems to be very staunch like his mother. She had a thing about checking the mail while the media were there filming.
