Trooper.. a very good friend of ours can't be with us tonight; but you are doing him proud.. you think the same, you talk the same - are you sure you are not twins? I would swear you are from the same gene pool!

Keep up the good work in his absence!

Hey I thought trooper was MY lost twin lol.

Realistically when one considers the number of people held at any particular time in gaols throughot Australia against the number of people who are actually murdered in them the chances of being killed in an Australian gaol are actually pretty low.

My guess is the main protagonist in this saga will survive in there.

IMO he may be a bit of a celebrity there, however I am sure there are many others, like Barlow etc, I d say he would be one very quiet observing mouse at this point

On the coat means......no one wants to talk to you.

still,Keen.. if anyone on remand could get anything worth something to the QPS.. something Gerard said in a moment of loneliness, say... wouldnt that be tradeable currency ? the court is not adverse to witnesses from the prison population... its not thrilled, but it accepts it at times, depending on the quality of the info..

Is it a common occurrence at the Magistrate's Court for an accused to stand with back to the court as it was reported GBC did ? If not, anyone have an idea as to what his stance was intended to relay?

I d assume it was sheer embarrassment and fear, maybe denial IMO

Murder trial.
Here is a case where they relied on a prisoner as a witness. Bob Pease Brisbane Homicide was the detective.

I think, Laser, his back was at all times to the gallery. that is, he didnt turn around to look at who was there..he knew mum and dad and sis wouldnt be there.

his barrister would never let him turn his back on the magistrate.. he'd hold him down himself if it came to that.

I think the message he was relaying was "**** you, **** you and a big **** YOU lolol..

Interesting to ponder, isn't it

Yes, very, I still believe that this arrest was very strategic to get that sort of effect amongst other things that I have previously outlined

Oh. Ok. Thought it might be something more 'salacious'

very well said laserdisc - indeed we should keep watching the story here for the pastors telling words - his statement has the potential to be quite prophetic or not....
