Never made a joke regarding Allisons murder. I have tried to refrain from making any accusation, assumptions or jokes towards anyone including GBC and his family. I have tried to be mindful and respectful to all involved because of the awful truth of this crime and because I do not know them and could not comprehend what this must be like.

When Justice Martin first told everyone to clear court room, Mr Baden-Clay's sister Olivia Walton initially refused telling security guards she was not going anywhere.

She soon evacuated with everyone else and sat with one of Mr Baden-Clay's lawyers, Darren Mahony, on a bench outside the court.

A security guard said there had been a bomb threat.

When asked for her thoughts on the alleged bomb hoax, Ms Walton refused to speak to media.

I am not sure who you are referring to. I must have missed some of the posts..cause I don't recall alot about the BC'S copping it today.. I will go back and see. I have not joked much about them at all and have been vocal in not doing so..

n his opening statements Baden-Clay's barrister Peter Davis SC said police had alleged his client had been largely unco-operative.

"The fact is that he has been involved consensually in two forensic examinations and he's engaged a solicitor to deal with police," Mr Davis told the court before the hearing was interrupted without explanation.

"His lack of co-operation is not evidence of guilt."

Mr Davis said police had released material to The Courier-Mail newspaper that positively identified Baden-Clay as a person of interest.

Justice Glenn Martin then cleared the court.

Oh dear mother goose, it is not who is saying it, it is WHAT is being said. Perhaps the majority of people on here just tend to think a little differently to you. Please don't take it personally. My family usually don't agree with me (my children, all six of them) but I know they love me still. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are some strong emotions on here and we just don't all agree, that's all. Hug, hug, hug

THE Supreme Court bail hearing of Gerald Baden-Clay has been delayed until Friday due to a security threat that forced the building to be evacuated. Justice Paul De Jersey told the media there would be no more court sittings today and business would resume tomorrow morning.

Sorry WI, but I think you are underestimating the intelligence and sensitivity of the bunch on this website. Wit and intellect do definitely go hand in hand and rarely do you have one without the other. As far as I can tell the people here are all of the above plus kind, caring empathetic and generally rather critical thinkers. If this is the reaction to the events today, I don't take it that it is a sign of mob mentality (which by the way I do agree exists and can be dangerous), but rather well balanced individuals venting their frustration with a humorous bent.

Well said. A few things to keep in mind - we are not employees of the court or law enforcement, and also many people use humour to cope with distressing situations. I note a few people also expressed they were upset and one person said they actually felt sick. All reactions are understandable.

I do agree this is a serious situation, but IMO another reason for expressions of disdain here about the bomb threat, is because of the distrust and suspicion that has developed in many people who live in the local community and who now feel their world has been turned upside down due to this murder so close to home. Obviously nothing can compare to the disruption, ruination and shattering heartbreak that has occurred for Allison's 3 little daughters, but for the surrounding community, and that includes myself, I know my community is not the same as it was, and I think it's understandable people feel angry when yet another drama is caused by someone possibly connected with the case.

Maybe..I usually try to skim over what I don't agree with or don't like. So perhaps I have missed stuff for that reason. I don't think anything I have said has been aimed that way- it wasn't meant to be at least.

I just wrote a long and intelligent post as a reply(nah not really intelligent) to you to hope that I hadn't offended you. You seem to have tough skin so I assume you're not. Anyway the post got lost.
