SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOLLOWING ASSAULT IN RICHMOND HILL

Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance to identify two suspects following an assault in the City of Richmond Hill.
On December 20, 2021, officers responded to an address on King William Crescent, which is in the area of Yonge Street and Bantry Avenue, for a call that a female victim was attacked and struck with a frying pan in an underground parking garage. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the two male suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle.
Through the investigation, officers determined that the suspect vehicle had been stolen from the area of Finch Avenue and Don Mills Road in Toronto. The vehicle has since been recovered.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or anyone who can identify these suspects to please come forward.
SUSPECT 1:
- · Male, 25 to 30 years
- · 6’2”, medium build
- · Short, brown hair
- · Wearing a surgical mask, a camo puffed jacket and dark pants
SUSPECT 2:
- · Male, 25 to 30 years
- · 5’10”, medium build
- · Dark, hooded jacket
- · Surgical mask
This incident is believed to be connected to the ongoing investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police into the abduction of Elnaz HAJTAMIRI.
