Leticias road trip was something else. Wonder what this guy's trip back is going to be like? I can see his <modsnip> face wanting to tell his tale of being done wrong jmvho
My guess is that he’ll hardly say a word. MOO

A friend of my husband is divorced and his children live with their Mother close by, but technically in another state. He is a devoted Dad, takes vacation days to chaperone field trips, coaches etc. Recently, he got notification from his Ex’s state that he was $1000’s of dollars delinquent in child support. His State had to intervene and show that actually he was a bit ahead. But this took several calls, documentation…a headache.

It was a clerical error, but it could certainly have caused suspicion and anger between the Exes. He did think at first that she had made some kind of deceptive complaint.

What if letters went out that seemed to indicate M was reopening the divorce case? Would that have enraged him? I wish we knew for sure if one of them reopened the divorce and why?

A potential reason for reopening the divorce could be an unrealized or unfinalized marital asset division.

Wasn't this around the time he was buying his condo in Chicago? Could there have been an unresolved credit issue that showed up on the credit report? JMO

Just for thought…..I saw someone else mention that the couple likely had a Nanit type baby monitor for at least the 1 year old if not both kiddos. These monitors pick up movement and sounds and are very sensitive. It records this data like a ring camera and stores it on a cloud database up to 2-7 days at a time. I really believe this is how the police could pinpoint times/shots and likely have some record of loud conversations that may have occurred.

We don't know at this point if he was triggered by the wedding video, fwiw.

No we dont, but you cant help but look at a cumulation of things and the timing of them all.
A malpractice suit,
That he seemed to be avoiding getting served
A relocation of his workplace
Buying a property in chicago
Reopening of an old divorce ( was it him or her that reopened it?)
Does any of it factor in?
On top of that how he was feeling about his divorce, or loss of marriage in general.

Divorce document @Speculaytor
Thank you so much. Now, if anyone has a verified copy of the docket that I keep seeing, which shows activity on this case file on 6/17/25. I went on to the request for public records and they want a fee. i know there is a copy floating around. Anyone? 😄

I believe he got to keep the house in the divorce. I wonder if he continued to live there thru out the residency and just sold it in order to buy the condo. It would surely have appreciated. Maybe M felt she was entitled to part of the sales price?

Curious to know how much equity was in that house at time of divorce, and now.
However once you settle I didnt think you could go back and claim for more. Unless there was something not disclosed??

This guy looks like a big bruiser. I hope they send a group to pick him up and transport him to Cbus.

I agree…it seems farfetched. But the condo purchase and the docket date are both in June, I believe. What if he just sold the Va house and made a nice profit on it. Perhaps a mutual friend mentioned it.

Perhaps she had helped with the down payment. If she walked away at the time because she wanted quickly out, could she come back?

Doesn’t seem that it would be legal.

For all we know, just before he killed Monique he said he was going to kill the children next. 🥵
Even if he didn't say it, this was probably her first thought when she realized what was happening. Will he hurt the children.

Not much. The house was purchased in 2015 for $219,000 and sold in 2020 for $271,000. He should have held until 2021 when the market blew up, because it sold again in 2021 for $350.000.

Correction..........$219,500 in 2015
