Wonder if he'll have a public defender in Ohio?

In hindsight, I bet BIL wishes he never posted their wedding video publicly. Sometimes it’s just better to keep things private. I would never have a video of mine like that available for the whole world to see.
It’s a different world than it was 30 years ago. Everything is now out there on social media.

Thank you so much. Now, if anyone has a verified copy of the docket that I keep seeing, which shows activity on this case file on 6/17/25. I went on to the request for public records and they want a fee. i know there is a copy floating around. Anyone? 😄
They showed it tonight on STS

Here's the other malpractice suit, the one alleging MM was the supervising surgeon during a procedure that left an 8.6 inch piece of medical equipment in someone's leg. It is set to go to trial July 2027 so it is an active malpractice lawsuit. I haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

They were unable to serve him and one of his former colleagues claimed he basically just up and "disappeared" mid 2025.
He is sketchy.
From reading all those docs that were listed:

Supposedly bought a condo in Chicago in July or sept 2025
Was supposed to be n court in sept for divorce issue., if that’s legit?
Has a practise in Rockford Illinois ? when did that open,?

Was attempted. Service for malpractice in oct 2025 at 3 addresses ‘in Vegas
** important to note that he knew that was coming, originally defendants were listed as john does. they had to change the names from John Does to real drs, So he must have known this was coming down the pipes.
Service attempts:
1st address : tv was on then shut off when server knocked but no answer.
2nd attempt no answer

Service to 2nd possible address:
woman answered. Did not know a Micheal McKee

Phone number listed with board was a fax number other number was not in service

3rd possible address doesn’t even exist, address listed was creary place I couldn’t find that could only find a geary place in Vegas.
Did McKee list it wrong or did server just get it wrong.

Colleagues say he up and disappeared, but he managed to buy a condo , open a business/practise… did server check for car registration?
I dont know how hard he would have been to find?

exactly. it also said they looked up the Illinois medical licensing information. I can't figure out why they were unable to find him and serve him. I guess they know where to find him now

I think Monique was shot first while she was sleeping. That shot woke up Spencer, he reacted and MM shot Spencer twice.
This case creeps me out so much. Can you imagine the fear in seeing this guy creeping around your house in the middle of the night? I hope they didn’t know what was happening but it seems like he’d probably want her to know that he is the one killing her

I imagine MM and his defence team will claim that he doesn't deserve the DP, as he spared the children.

Moo... Na that not the way it's done. He blasts husband and then explains why he needed to do this. The need or mind frame to justify himself. (It's a thing, if it is personal an they going to off you) But he might of shot accidentally her,... while shooting husband....moo

My guess, only really just speculation, is maybe he killed Spencer first, and for several reasons.

One would be that Spencer wouldn't be able to protect Monique, if he woke up and knew what was happening.

Two would be that MM would want Monique to suffer watching Spencer die in front of her.

Three would be that he would enjoy the terror Monique had to feel, knowing the babies were in the house and that MM was on a mission to kill, and she might be next.

And four, maybe MM had some things he wanted to vent at her before he killed her. How she never should have left him, that he was her true husband, that kind of stuff.

Just purely speculation.

It's normal to feel pain of jealousy at times, but to make plans to take the lives of parents (of two young children!) signals a very disturbed person, imo. I think we'll learn more signs, besides this crime, that he wasn't okay.

I'm expecting to learn he was faltering in his career, and it's not easy to pivot to something else at that specialized level, so I think he destroyed it all. Now he doesn't have to pivot or watch her happiness because he has the excuse his life will be spent in prison.

About the career. There is a lack of doctors, including qualified surgeons, now. So, even two lawsuits are not the end of someone’s career. (Source: a friend who worked in a highly paid and equally high-risk field. He had two serious lawsuits one after another. His malpractice insurance went drastically up, so high that he decided to get into locum tenens for a while. After several years, he joined another practice and ultimately, did fine. Of course it was a hard time, but he never complained. If anything, he explained the problems (malpractice insurance), why was it better to go the locums route, what he expected to happen.) In fact, there are few high risks medical fields, including surgery in general. A couple of lawsuits, especially explained by “genuine mistakes”, do not necessarily ruin everything for doctors.

I’d rather suspect that McKee was falling apart and viewed the lawsuit as “the end of the road”. Maybe he managed to ruin professional relationships with his colleagues, too.

He did nothing wrong, and I bet Spencer and Monique agreed. If each time you post a wedding film or a family photo, you think “is there a psychopath lurking in the darkness?”, the world gets impossible.

Seems like the ex has been an issue for a while. No one is implying he did anything wrong, but I agree that some things should be left private. Especially since it shows inside their house. Everyone talks about lock security but we should be mindful what is put online also.

I would love to know now, if the staff at the dental office were aware of any trouble, prompting their quick response ( 911) to him being unreachable. Most people are curious about “ and his wife isn’t answering…that’s the concerning part” what was behind that concern.
Doubt we will know anytime soon, that will be saved for a trial.

There a new YT video (a short) on this subject by former anchor Susan Hendricks, who says she interviewed a high school friend of MM’s, who wished to remain anonymous. She reports that the friend says of MM: only child, adopted, unaccepting of parents, estranged from parents since 2017. I think it means credible media coverage isn’t far off. The channel is Headline Crime and the video is a YT short.

I think it's likely he had to put the light on to see who was in the bed, and to take aim, and see they were dead. I think they would have seen him, since parents of babies are usually on alert even when they are sleeping.

If he was adopted (unverified source posted upthread) it makes me think he has extreme abandonment issues, and he would not have felt satisfaction if Monique did not see and register what he was going to do. Perhaps leaving her children unharmed, and orphaned, to be adopted, was part of the trauma he wanted Monique to contemplate before he shot her. What a nightmare.

I think it's likely Spencer tried to get up to stop him and was shot first and multiple times because he was a moving target. Monique was likely frozen in fear and would have seen him shoot Spencer. Maybe he had words for her too. MOO

I thought about the need for MM to have some sort of a light to see S and M. I get up a few times during the night and even though we have motion sensor nightlights, I still have to take my time getting back to my bed while my eyes adjust to the darkness. I think they heard noises and woke up. Maybe he was in their doorway by then? No way could he have been in total darkness the entire time. Maybe a flashlight or headlamp or as used.

Yes. Usually the point of a face to face confrontation is for the victim to see the killer and understand who and why the murder is happening. Even if for only a few seconds.

But if the killer didn't turn on the lights or say anything, he wanted it to be anonymous, and just wanted the victims dead.

Perhaps he had been stalking or harassing the Tepes. So tormenting them had already taken place.
Like I said I think he killed ST first, and then had his time with Monique. That was his moment to tell her he “won” the sick game he has been playing in his head since they got divorced. That was his time to tell her he got the last word. Forever. She would have been thinking about the kids. I can’t imagine the fear. That poor woman.

But your wedding video doesn’t have to be. In fact, most people’s wedding videos aren’t.

They had their social media private so at least that stuff would have been inaccessible to him unless he created a fake account.
