I have to ask: is the account without any doubt LMs?

Also tonight I found another LM website - one that mimmicks his .com one but this one has a .net extension and has some tabs that are only in Russian. It was registered with a secretive domain registrar in Florida. Unless Luka mastered a crash course in Russian with his IQ, I highly doubt he created it.

I think both the Twitter account and the .org site are false flags, personally. Perhaps the animal activists could confirm whether that's yet another piece of their work.

I don't know for sure Sealuzna. It seems the very first tweet made was July (year not specified; don't know how far back tweets are kept), and it was a link to the "official" Luka-Magnotta website. That website appears to have started July 2011. but I guess we don't even know if that website was by him or the activists. Ugh :(

Not necessarily a matter of IQ ... if both his mother and grandmother (and other maternal relatives) are Russian, I think he would have possibly had lots of exposure to the language from an early age.

I second your ugh.

The only reason I have to believe that the "official" website (the .com one) was most likely created by him is the section about cyber-stalking. I just can't think of a reason why a poser would put that, or all the cutesy Jack Handy-type stuff on there. :dunno:

wow, "Manny" must've had an industrial size container of plastic wrap to 100% cover Luka's body :eyeroll:e

It's called visqueen.. and yes, it's very cheap to get an industrial size roll.

True very true.

I did not watch the film so I missed that link for his plans. :tyou:

Yes for about 3-4 uninterrupted seconds during the video he points the camera on the poster and holds it there...there is nothing else in the cameras view...just the poster.

IMPORTANT: can someone tell me if the Casablanca poster is visible in the first segment of the video? (i.e. when Jun Lin is still alive?) And not a still photo, but the poster on the wall during the time he's alive. Thanks!

Yes the poster can be seen through the whole thing it is hanging right behind the bed.

Test the Russian text for authenticity. Copy it and paste it into google translate. If the translation is written in perfect English, then it was most likely created using google translate. If it is jumbled up with words out of order and incorrect translations, then it could be authentic.

This is pretty amazing, if only for the fact that it actually pinpoints LM being in NYC in January 2011. Those emails are beyond scary and I've long thought their is a very seedy element still to be unearthed (not that it excuses anything LM did). His online postings in some BDSM forums as "cutelittlenemo1" are pretty disturbing.

I wonder if there is any way to back up his claims? There should be record of his 911 call and his hospital visits and I find it telling that he says he was put into a 24 hour psychiatric observation. Again, I know it's not the popular view, but more and more we are looking at someone severely out of touch with reality and thus on the borderline of insane by legal definition.

being a Canadian in New York would make him an "international" student.

Edit: never noticed it was in TO

If he was enrolling in a school in the U.S, then he would be an 'international' student.

Also interesting in the last communication he is all upbeat and saying he is in New Jersey. I thought this Manny would'nt let him go anywhere or said he would kill him if he left. Oh the web we weave....his family member who was interviewed about him fabricating things were bang on. I hope the police have this article and the communication with this lawyer. The animal rights group had him and he was SCARED they have finally found out it was him in the vids of the killings. This guy is beyond what I imagined him to be. There are no words to describe an individual like this. Psychopath only touches a minuscule portion of his make up.

I thought he had enrolled in a college in Toronto. I best read again. Thanks

A Canadian registering at a Canadian school is a domestic student, not an international one. The school is in Toronto.

"No" is bolded under "International Student", not "Yes". (just zoom in)

Hi everyone! I've been lurking this case since thread #4 and as for today I decided to join you guys. I've given this case quite some thought and I would like to share my 2 cents.

*On a side note --> English is not my first and native tongue, please bare with me regarding spelling and grammer fails.*

Somewhere deep inside me, I feel that LM had an abusive past. To what extent I cannot say, but that it left some pretty nasty scarring I do believe. This made me think about a motivation why LM did the things he did to poor JL.
Dismembering a body is not something new to crimeworld. In cases what I've seen on t.v. is that dismembering is often associated with revenge. So let's assume that LRM was abused and he felt all the anger accompanied with it and reflected that on JL. At this point it has nothing to do with any personal feelings towards the victim, but purely the feeling he had towards his abusers. Why he snapped is only guesswork, but in some strange way I cannot discard this theory.

wow, that's some pretty, serieus, messed up things. And if true… it feeds my somewhere deep inside gut feeling….

why does the name "manny" seem so familiar in this case.. like ive read in somewhere before..

I don't recall the name "manny", but I do recall a blogpost ( sorry I cannot for the life of me say which one ) where LM writes about "eating faeces" in front of a client. Maybe that's where you saw it too?

Also I watched a clubbing video from 2009 on dailymotion I believe it was. And in some of the shots you can clearly see this scars from the hairtransplants. So in his auditioning vid he did not lie about that and you can clearly see that he dropped his guard/shield at several points. I tried to watch that aud-vid openminded, since he auditioned before anything of his alleged crimes were committed. And I too find ( as some of you posted earlier ) that he came across as a nice person ( yes with issues yes ).

Pff there I put it out there...
