~n/t~ I could have told you that based on the unposted, validated titillating Magnotta stuff I tracked down and have alluded to previously...
And this "expert" hasn't seen half the stuff you've seen.

He's just another talking head. You're more of an expert than he is!

So no one has been able to identify the crazy, obsessive former manager who is clearly behind this obvious framing of poor 'lil innocent THE Luka Rocco Magnotta?

:floorlaugh:

Seriously, why are we googling Eric C Newman in the US...
on zabasearch alone there are close to 200 listings that are made public....

Eric C Newman - 167 Free Listings

??

i must have missed something.....

Thanks for saying that prima.facie!

In my opinion, it would be more useful to Google Alfred E Newman, at least we'd all have some giggles...

Oh my ... the writing style is unique isn't it.

Magnotta must hate spell check or be unaware of the existence of such a useful tool...

But I still really want to place LM in USA during this time.

I really don't see him as a Prius driver either.

Thanks for finding that. Usually they would use PR (photo radar) to designate that kind of ticket in AZ -- don't ask me how I know. lol Looks like star valley has there own city system. I know they did away with photo radar quite a while ago in the phx metro area. The cameras were still up for a while, but they didn't take pics.

There is a pic of LM that was taken against a light colored concrete (?) backdrop with a newtish looking lizard on it. That's the only pic I've seen that clearly looks like it was taken in AZ. A lot of the concrete freeway barriers and similar have southwest motifs (lizards, cactus, kokopelli's) in the concrete.

eta: agree re the prius lol

I agree both you Sealuzna and Seahawks make valid points and I don't have an opinion one way or another, just respect both your viewpoints. However Sealuzna, your statement about his HS classmates statements: If someone you knew was charged with such monstrous acts, would you speak glowingly about them to the media?
I don't speak about anyone glowingly LOL

They didn't say he was an axe murderer back then or anything. Just said he'd be out playing road hockey with the gang, but seemed quite sad all the time.

Oh, but quick to temper - he threw a chair at his sixth-grade teacher. :)

Still searching the site. The July I 2005 is the date of the appeal. It looks like this happened in 2004if I go by the original information but I don't have a date of the case, this is frustrating. In 2004 it looks like a decision was rendered on the case and then appealed? Pulling my hair out here.... I know the case docket is on this darn site just have to find it to see if it's the Eric C Newman but by the charges it sure as hell sounds like it!

I did find something under the criminal section and posted the info here:

Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - ARRESTED- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder charge;INTERPOL alert #6

But it doesn't tell me much but you may be able to glean something from it.

I'm sure that we could find claims by Magnotta that he is responsible for everything from the War of 1812 to the Kennedy Assassination to being the inventor of Post-It Notes to being responsible for September 11th; how much weight we put on his infinite claims is important...

Thanks for the laugh I needed that :rollercoaster:

May I please ask why you are searching this?

What is the connection to LM? I see none...

Then again, Beavis Butthead / DataLounge Troll could be someone who is obsessed with LRM.

I now think the DataLounge troll has no connections to LRM or the case. After finding another trollish thread he posted on DataLounge that has nothing to do with the case, I think he's just a weird troll.

Urrrgg! I was just looking into the whole Shadow People thing and I found a forum where a member says that Luka was a River Phoenix fan and that he used an alias River Stark. When I was a kid I loved River Phoenix. He inspired me to become interested in Greenpeace and PETA, I even became a little member of Greenpeace. :). Those interests really shaped some of the ideals and causes I support to this day.

I noticed that LRM seemed to be trying to pull of River's look and failing miserably. River Phoenix was so dreamy .

In addition to being locked up for the rest of his life, I hope he is never able to see another picture of himself ever again. My friend had a bird once, since the little guy didn't have a mate he fell in love with his mirror. That's what LRM reminds me of, just someone who is completely unable to form any kind of real attachment to others so he has fallen in love with himself. Pathetic.

Oh, and here's the link to the other forum, but I think it's been mentioned before:

To clarify: From Justin Ling of Xtra!'s twitter feed he has noted that several individuals who knew Magnotta will not talk to the media even if their identity is protected. Given the extensive media coverage of both Magnotta and the horrific details of the acts he is accused of, it would be extremely difficult for someone to publicly make positive statements about him. I'm sure his former friends and family are going through a really difficult times dealing with the fact that someone who was at one time a part of their life could be capable of such monstrous acts. Therefore publicly sharing even the "good memories" they have of Magnotta would be beyond difficult as it would put them in a tough position.

as i noted above, i searched pacer (us courts database) and the eric c newman(s) i found are not him. no way.

getting canadian court records.....i dont have that access....

eric c newman is a common name, so i am not sure why this path was started lol i just did what i could to help...

The path was started because of the traffic ticket in Payson being under the name of Eric C. Newman. In googling that specific name, it brought up the sexual assault case in NY that pre-dated his change of name to LRM, plus it is known that he has been in NY.

I'm not ruling him in based on what i found, but am not so quick to rule him out either until further checking.

You've been providing enough giggles tonight to sustain us for a while :)

Appeal from a judgment of the Ontario County Court (Frederick G. Reed, J.), rendered June 4, 2004. The judgment convicted defendant, upon his plea of guilty, of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Now doesn't that sound like it might fit? That or there is something about the name Eric C Newman

I really don't think this is the same guy. That woud be Ontario County, New York and I believe he is not the Luka <modsnip> guy.

Given the fact that we have NOT been able to identify that Magnotta maintained any friendships in the last 18 months it is difficult to believe that there is anyone who is "obsessed" with Magnotta. More likely it is an individual(s) trying to have their own "Look At Me" moment by spreading salacious rumor in order to try to convince folks that the malarkey they are spewing out of their twisted minds is fact.
