If Giordano murdered Robyn then why would he report her missing?

It seems many were unaware where she was and with whom except for Christina, but either way, Giordano could have left the island without reporting her missing. He could say she ran into a friend and did not see her again.

Why would he report her missing and draw attention to himself?

He bought the plane tickets, booked hotel and paid for it all. Her roommate knew that she was in Aruba with him so if she completely disappeared, all roads led back to him. He may not have known that no one else knew where she was and who she was with. All her stuff was still in the hotel so without reporting her missing, he had to get rid of all her stuff, or he had to inform the hotel that she took off when leaving her stuff with the hotel staff at checkout time. Perhaps he assumed it would be easier to deal with the disappearance in Aruba rather than in the US, not realizing that the FBI would become involved right away. Perhaps he thought that by reporting that she drowned in a place where drownings had occurred in the past, he would look innocent and her disappearance would be routinely written up as just another drowning. My guess is that he miscalculated and didn't anticipate that there would be a thorough investigation. Clearly, anyone that listened to Nancy Grace and Beth Holloway would assume that Aruban authorities don't know anything about investigating a missing person.

The problem is I can't find anyone using their real name. They seem to be using screen names, so if you do a search you end up having to go through something like 2000 profiles, looking at the pictures. :no:

Oh I had no idea. I wouldn't want to look at 2,000 pictures either.

But, questions kept arising in my mind, such as, if the clothing doesn't belong to her, then, who does it belong to? Seems a little weird, I don't know.

I looked at his FB profile and sure enough she is listed as one of his friends.

Hmm, wonder what GVG aka Robyn said to her? Maybe GVG thought that the woman would let her guard down more while conversing with a woman who was say, offering an opportunity?

There is something about all of Carrie's postings that sets my hinckey meter off. I don't know what it is.

If it's all true though, possibly Robyn did just go there thinking it was for work as a model as a way to earn some money, naively thinking it was safe since they were also friends. That would rule out her two timing her current boyfriend, looking for a sugar daddy or leading Giordano on romantically. Possibly Giordano thought once he got her there he could do whatever he wanted and she would succumb to his charms but she fought him, leading to her death. I have a hard time thinking he planned ahead of time to take her to Aruba to murder her. His abusive prior behavior would lead me to believe something set him off, even something small, and he lost control and killed her.

IMO, and consistent throughout this investigation:

GVG was offering modeling and other media ventures to women. I do think that those opportunities turned out to be that he would sell. After all, without his girlfriends' knowledge, he is alleged to have taken pornographic photos/video of them and distribute those items.

I think that Robyn fell victim to his conman connivings and she paid with her life. Did she resist his sexual advances and filming? Or was this something much darker?

To take this one step further: what if getting rid of Robyn was doubly profitable? In other words, someone gets her off of his back and pays to get rid of her, and a lucrative snuff film is in the plans?

Gardner Knew He was Dangerous

Giordano had a history of sending aggressive, angry texts to Gardner, according to her best friend and roommate.

Christina Jones said Giordano had previously asked Gardner to go on a cruise with him. When Gardner went away with Jones to New York instead, he flipped, Jones told ABC News.

"He was texting her while we were at breakfast, very angry at her because she decided she wasn't going to go on the cruise," Jones said. "And his responses by text, which I don't feel comfortable repeating, were aggressive, harmful, something that doesn't sit right within myself."

Jones said that her friend was aware that Giordano had a history of domestic abuse allegations, and that they had a "rollercoaster friendship."

When Gardner told Jones she was going to Aruba with the volatile Giordano, Jones said she questioned her friend.

"When she came to me and said, 'Hey, I'm going to Aruba,' I said, 'Cool, I'm so happy, get out of town, why wouldn't you?'" Jones said. "And then she said she was going with Gary, it became a 'Why? Why? Are you sure?'"

Gardner, who Jones described as trusting and sweet, reassured her friend that the trip would be fine. Gardner had recently lost her job as a dental assistant, and was having relationship issues with her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Richard Forester, Jones said.

"She made me feel better, that it was going to be okay and she was just going to clear her head," Jones said. "She was just so lighthearted about it and kind of needed to get away."

Jones said that Gardner and Giordano had an on-again, off-again relationship for over a year in which they would go out for drinks and be friendly for awhile, and then not talk for a few months.

"Some months she wouldn't even see him and then other months he'd weasel his way back in there, and you know, she's going to go grab a drink," Jones said. "Sometimes Robyn was very focused on having a solid relationship with Richard when things were good, and then you wouldn't hear about Gary."

Gardner, who has a tattoo on her shoulder, and Jones bonded because they stuck out in their small town because they both have tattoos, Jones said. Nevertheless, Gardner was the type that was hoping for a knight in shining armor, Jones said.

"You know, my gist on her was always, something great is going to come along with the white picket fence and everything, but it never came," Jones said.

Yep, I mentioned this earlier. I think that if they don't find her body, then on Mon. Dr. Drew is having a show with a friend of hers on. So I said I think she may further elaborate at that time.

Hope that Dr. Drew asks some good questions. I am a little doubtful. But, we shall see.

What complicates things for Christina IMO is she doesn't want to jeopardize the investigation by discussing that Robyn was involved sexually with GG. She fears that Robyn will be branded negatively and that people will think she deserved it, etc. and the media will lose interest in the case. MOO. She sort of hints at this by saying Robyn would turn her attention to Gary when things would get rough with RF. If they were "just friends" it wouldn't matter how her relationship was going with RF.

I believe that Gary and Robyn had a sexual relationship before ever arriving at Aruba.

My guess is she went to Aruba for whatever reason - maybe down and out b/c of trouble with her BF and then losing her job - then got there and wasn't having such a good time. I'm sure there is a reason that she was not dating GG more steadily but maybe the lure of the trip to Aruba got the best of her - and it wasn't until she was there that whatever repelled her reared its ugly face again. Then perhaps he saw the text she sent to her BF and went ballistic - killing her in a rage.

That's what I think happened, based upon others' reports in the media that he wanted e-mail passwords of theirs, etc. JMHO, of course.

I agree, but I'm more of the mind that it was a really mixed bag of promises by GG. And we don't yet know the full extent of it.

On the one hand, we have a sexual abuser of women, and on the other hand, we have a wheeler-dealer type. I have a feeling that these two worlds collided.

I have found about 4 Facebook profiles that look fake and are being run by GG. I bet the FBI will find evidence of this on his computer. The purpose of the profiles are to appear to be an attractive female who wants to trade pics (nudes, etc.) with other women. Actually, it may go beyond that. Give me a minute.
