I was just thinking earlier, has Aruba just stopped searching for Robyn? They seem to have. If so, I guess I don't understand. In cases of missing persons that are similar to this in the U.S., LE just doesn't stop searching, they continue to search.

If this is the case, what a shame, and how very sad :(.

Perhaps this is just one more reason GG chose Aruba. JMO

I would also think that it must be quiet difficult for a small island to find the resources to maintain a high profile, long term inquiry..Any scaling down is going to look bad on them. Maybe independant investigation of search teams could be used more..JMO.

Most of you probably don't care about this, as it is about the history of Aruba, but I found it interesting so here is the link below.

Not only was Aruba known for their gold and phosphate mining, but, surprising to me, for their oil industry as well.

Most interesting to me, is that Aruba was known for, and is still known today, for its aloe production. I know, I know, but I'm somewhat of an amateur horticulturist, so what can I say...

Lambchop, Duchi, have you ever seen these aloe fields in Aruba? I've never seen aloe fields, so just curious. TIA

Anyway, now that Aruba is sounding so interesting, I may have to plan a trip there, lol. The only problem being, that my husband will get po'd at me for wanting to spend most of the trip looking for Robyn.

It is in Hato and the factory is very modern

It was started so many years ago, i can't remember when

I have used the product and it is wonderful

Aruba is rich in history
It has a far more spanish feel than you would imagine

Have you never heard of thr Aloe Man???????????????????????

The case is not closed in Aruba or the US
And as sad as it is, and i do agree with you about that, I thiink that searching has stopped but if anything new comes up, it will pick up from there

That is RFs plan when he raises enough money:innocent:

Am posting this, as I am trying to refresh my memory of some points in this case, and also I think there had been some discussion in the previous thread about Robyn's relationships with GG and with RF, thus this article from ABC news.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/robyn-gard...-mount-evidence-gary/story?id=14289710&page=2

There seems to be conflicting information about their relationship
Some reports suggest it was an ongoing thing, seeing each other a couple of times a month . Some suggest it was occassional. Others suggest there was no relationship at all.

You can also tour the aloe factory where they make their products.

NATIONAL ENQUIRER

Weeks after being freed from an Aruban prison, suspected murderer GARY GIORDANO was trolling for kinky new sex partners at the same adult web site where he met missing blonde beauty ROBYN GARDNER!

“He’s convinced that his legal troubles are far from over, and he doesn’t trust anyone.”

JB has made this claim about GG before so it is probably true. GG seems to expect something will be found, why, because, imo, he's a guilty man.

I don't know how many mines there are, but my guess would be quite a few
They mined gold and phosphate there

Dushi,

Got a question. On the last thread #962, the picture you took looking toward Rogers Beach. What are the towers at the top of the picture, probably in Rogers Beach?? Is that a refinery of some sort? TIA

Yes it is

At one time this area, the Colony housed the employees who were sent to Aruba to work at the refinery

he may well be neesaki, but they cannot find the proof required to even re-arrest him, let alone charge him, and then get a court to convict him..

The refinery is still operating
Most of the houses are gone

It looked like this in the 50s

Aruba, Lago colony, 1955-57 - YouTube

WOW Dushi!!!

Your like the "Master Archivist" (if there is such a word) LOL!!!

Yeah, no body, no crime, right?

Then again, what about kidnapping. Robyn disappeared without a trace. GG was the one last seen with her. They did not go snorkeling according to several witnesses. So GG did something with or to Robyn. Of course, that is jmo.

And kidnapping charges are better than nothing, again, jmo.

I could not agree with you more, but we are not the ones that bring the charges. There must be reasons why no charges have been brought. As reguards kidnapping, someone has to be held against their will, and she was there with him of her own free will, she did not have to go to Aruba with him..JMO too LOL..:dunno:

On his GMA appearance GG made a comment that RG may have been a victum of human trafficers. So how would that happen without him knowing it??? Could he have been thinking of an excuse for where her remains may show up on an eastern coastal beach??? Who knows??? If her remains were found in some other area than Baby Beach would he say that she was picked up by trafficers and tried to escape and that is how her body ended up in an entirely different place??? Why would he make that statement which sounded rediculous? He was (supposedly0 right there and failed to notice a boat full of trafficers pulling her onboard??? Liars never tell you the truth but sometimes they tell a version of the truth to make their lie sound more truthful. jmo

What would be the reason behind kidnpping her after she went to Aruba willingly?
