Yes, Lambchop, a good one to add to your 'list'. What else do you have on it?? Maybe 'we' can help you add more stuff on it!! LOL!

Also, I noticed above that people are saying his hard-drive was cleaned... but we don't know that correct?? Since the FBI isn't giving us any updates!!

:seeya:

All we have to go on is what Suniskye reported here via her post, which was what she had heard / read on the local area news. Apparently she lives in that area?

I remember her giving the name of the news agency, but don't remember, it was quite some time ago. But I remember looking online then, and couldn't find a website.

What happened to Suniskye?

Sorry, Dushi, I hadn't read far enough down, didn't intend to repeat what you had just posted.

I just find it really strange that GG claims that they talked to someone who recommended that area to snorkel, yet they drive over there, go in the Dive Shop, and never follow up on the recommendation with the employees in the dive shop. That is very "off" to me. He didn't know these people from Adam, (even though they probably don't exist, imo). Yet he didn't even follow up with the people who are experts on the area, to verify this alleged recommendation that it was a good snorkeling area. This is very hinky, imo.

Do you think that was his intention?
To find a place to snorkel?

He didn't follow up because if he had they would have told him not to snorkel there and that is just not what he wanted. jmo

Exactly, no I don't. All of his actions lead me to believe otherwise, whatever he was intending to do, and whatever he claims they did, it was not snorkeling, imo.

So that he continues with this claim of snorkeling, that not one of the interviewers seriously asked pointed questions, including Geraldo, who I thought had more guts than most, well, they are all just despicable, jmo :maddening:

I wish there was more info on the hard drive
Only heard about it from a poster who said he'she saw it on TV...
No major media seemed to pick that up , so we don't know very much about that

I think the last report we saw regarding the computer was that it could take months to try and figure out what was on his computer. `jmo

Also, I noticed above that people are saying his hard-drive was cleaned... but we don't know that correct?? Since the FBI isn't giving us any updates!!

Niner: I did say in post 500 that he MAY have cleaned his HD before he left, and that it was just speculation on my part.lol

The only mention of the hard drive being wiped clean was from Sunnyskies)...She said she heard it on a local news program...Several of us searched for confirmation and could find nothing...I am not saying it never happened, I am just saying we found nothing further about it JMO

all i ever saw was something like this from CBS:

"They want more time to analyze his computer to see if there is any record, any journaling, anything that could directly link him to a homicide plot, and it doesn't look like they are going to get it, because they know he is text-savvy and think he has wiped out his hard drive, but if they could get some direct evidence they would charge him or extradite him back to face charges in the future."

Ask anyone in Aruba and they will tell you that spot he picked to snorkel makes everything that more suspicious. He also stated that earlier that day someone recommended baby beach and it was first time ever there. That he was totally shocked that everything was closed and everyone had left.

Did he not realize that the media here in the states already released video images of them there the day before? I guess he coud say anything he wanted at that point like they weren't drinking either? And he had never heard of her taking sleeping pills in the middle of the day? :waitasec:

He also changed his story about how he got his shoes and socks wet..First he told Robyns mother he got them wet looking for her..Then it seems he decided to stick with he was snorkeling with his shoes and socks on which is really ridiculous...IMO

My very first post on 5 DEC 11:
http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7409431&postcount=402

contained this URL where criminologist Casey Jordan stated that LE thought that GG wiped his hard drive (but didn't mention which device nor where it was located):
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500188_162-57331486/aruba-orders-release-of-gary-giordano/

I also wish there was more information available about this, but perhaps we just have to maintain our patience and hope they do find something (I'm betting the FBI will, however circumstantial it may be).

So if GG didn't have a plot to get rid of Robyn, either homicide or other, what reason would he have had to wipe out his hard drive before he ever left the U.S. for Aruba. I can't think of any.

Casey Jordan: (paraphrased): Robyn's family could file civil wrongful death lawsuit, but it would probably be to get answers, not money, because GG doesn't have any money, he is in "financial shambles".

Yet again another rebuttal to "GG is wealthy and doesn't need 1.5 million" and that his shyster attorney, JB has any inclination to be on the side of truth, .... :shakehead:

  • #534
if the FBI could prove WHEN he wiped the hard drive and if it was right before he left for aruba, could that be used as circumstantial evidence against GG?

  • #535
doesn't he own a $60 000 car and a home worth over a million? surely he can sell both if need be to satisfy a wrongful death settlement?

bus passes are cheap! and he could live um, in a cheap bachelor apartment somewhere... you know b/c he is one! lol

I'm pretty sure that everything he owns, he owes for. I think it was Blueskies that posted that GG's mother is making his house payments? I'll have to go back and check.

I hadn't considered the possibility that GG might have done that prior to his departure to Aruba, I've always figured that he might have wiped his drives using any one of several remote control software packages and that's what he might have been doing using RG's iPad, as noted by RF's observance of RG's internet connectivity after her disappearance.

If what you suspect is possibly the case, then perhaps records from GG's ISP could shed some light on this (e.g. if there was no connectivity in his absence then he couldn't have done it remotely), although that might also be negated if an accomplice in the US had visited his home while he was in Aruba, but if he did have security cameras they would have evidence of someone's entrance into his home...

Sheesh, the possibilities boggle the mind!

That is why a couple of posts back I was speculating, that if! he had wiped it before leaving for Aruba, then it could be pre-meditated murder. If on the other hand it was more of an accident, and he wiped it when he got back it was to remove any idea of a pre-concieved plan..JMO.

Sorry Saracen, you did mention this in post #500. I guess it just didn't register until I thought it through myself - sometimes we get these preconceived notions in our brains and they're hard to shake. I think it's difficult to think like a criminal at times since it's so different from how we normally function. This is why I never pursued any security related issues as an engineer/systems analyst.

I'm particularly concerned since I live about a mile away from GG's house and I'm afraid that if I ever see him I'll be tempted to say something I might regret, like "Hi murderer!". Thank God I'm not an actual neighbor!

If GG's computer was cleaned it would indicate he suspected someone would be looking at his computer while he was on vacation, which is hinky, and if he cleaned it afterwards he definitely is trying to hide something. Either way it does not look good. jmo
